champ_49
Anyone know of a decent campground for overnight stay near I-75 heading north in Ohio. Just electric is all that's needed. It's early in the season so that's why I am curious. Leaving Florida weds. and will hit Ohio probably Friday of this week. 40' 5th wheel 4 slides. LFDR3116
Check allstays.com. I did a google search for campgrounds in Ohio open in march and their site had several marked depending on what area of ohio you are in. Open year round is one of the search options. We use this site a lot.
sdeasy
At the Kentucky/Ohio border, try South Cincinnati RV park. Lovely, large park but close to very active railroads (every 45 min during the day) and I-75. Too noisy for a long stay but fine for an over night. champ_49
We stayed in Georgetown KY and just drove through Ohio to MI. It was a long day and not what we like to do, but for the conditions it turned out for the best. Thanks everyone. Dave
Solo18
This is a bit late, but might be helpful for others. I was not sure if you are looking for northern Ohio or Southern Ohio. Northern Ohio along I-75, I would recommend Maumee Bay State Park. It is quiet most of the time and has large spaces with electric. Southern Ohio along I-75, I would recommend Winton Woods. It has electric and full hookups at reasonable rates.
