We have been to the Big Bend Nat Park for the last week without internet or cell service. It's plenty HOT there, glad to be heading North. Will see our daughter in Big Springs for a day or two and then to Paducah for a few days before heading to Colo. Everyone stay safe. We sure enjoyed seeing everyone at Q in Jan. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!! We made it to the Ranch yesterday, arrived late but they let us in. We sure enjoyed our week at Deming, Had two meals and good visits with Lee. Will stay here a week or so, Plan to spend some time with Glyn and Di while here. We think this is the friendly's park in the system and enjoy our time here. LIFE IS GOOD!!!! Freddy and Delcie

We made it to Deming Nm. late yesterday, are at the SKP park. Hope Lee can get time off from the cowgirls to have a meal with us while we are here. Never thought it would happen as I always check to see that the hitch is locked, This time I didn't and guess what, I dropped the 5th wheel on the bed of the truck. Pretty good bend in the top of the bed, will tlry to bend it back with 2x4 and jack, it will still look bad but we will live with it. We plan to be to Yuma and hope to make Q for the tent show, It just depends on when we get released from the gate guarding. We need to go to our home base at Paducah for a few days. thhen will start West. stopping at the Ranch, Dreamcatchers and Casa Grande on the way. Looking forward to seeing everyone!!! We are gate guarding with a oilfield frac crew, we will be through in mid Jan. and plan to start West then. Will probly miss Q but plan to be to Yuma by early Feb. Looking forward to seeing everyone. This job is 24/7 and one of us has to be here at all times. Ed and Lyn are gaurding for a different company in far SW Tex. Sure wanting to get on the road again. See ya';; in Feb if all goes well.

We plan to leave Texas just after the 1st of the year, will probly be three weeks getting there. I'd think we should be there around the 20th. Of course that is in chalk as you know. We are leaving the campground this morning. Another year of campground hosting over. Plan is to go to Cochiti Lake between Albq. and Santa Fe for a few days, then home to Texas. Its been a good summer in the mtn's but fall is in the air and snow will fly before long. Hope everyone is well and happy! LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

Febuary works for us. We plan to leave Texas around the first of the year. Would like to be in Q for the big tent in mid Jan. then check out Lake Havasau before the get together. Can't hardly wait to see everyone. Pilot Knob is good for us. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

Well today is our 40th anaversey [i've forgot how to spell] We are going to the casino for dinner tonight. Getting hitch itch too. Will close the campground the week after labor day, then head to Texas. [ Jeri Mesa Verde is just 36 mi E of Durango, but we will be gone before mid Sept.] Sure missing everyone. I just wrote a long post and as I signed our names it went away, dont know what I did. We are still at Vallecito Lake in the mtns of Colo. The monsoon rains have started and it rains every afternoon late, Bueatyfull in the mornings tho. Just five more weeks and we will have the season done, getting hitch pretty bad. It finally started raining here. We are still under a strage 2 fireban, [no fires except propane] it will probly be a week or two before the ban is lifted. It cooled off when the rains started and we needed that. Hoping everyone is doing good and having FUN!!! LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

We haven't had rain since early May. The Forrest Service has put a Stage 1 fire restriction on the San Juan. The only campfires allowed are in firerings in campgrounds, and we look for them to stop all fires excpt in gas stoves pretty soon if it dosen't rain. We are doing good, Hope all ya'll are all having FUN!!! It's been pretty cool here, jackets in early morning and late afternoon, glad we are not in Texas. Glad Parker is better. Everyone stay safe. After high winds and smoke from the Az. fires yesterday we woke up to 33' this morning. The sky is clear and no smoke, the lake is glassey, we are expecting a great day at Vallecito Lake... The campground is about half full, we were looking for a lot more campers over the holiday, dont know if it's the weather or the economy. Hope everyone is doing good and as blessed as we are. We finished the yard sale and pulled out of Paducah at noon. 300 mi. and 6 hrs. later we spent the nite in Vaughn Nm. Its a lot cooler here and will be better tonight. Hoping to make Farmington, then our campground on Vallicto Lake Monday. Everyone stay safe!LIFE IS GOOD!!!Freddy and Delcie

We spent a couple of hours in the storm cellar last nite. Had a tornado 8 mi. W. of town, no damage. The sirens went off at about 11;30 and because we are in a trailer we thought it best to get in the hole. Looking forward to getting to Colo. the 1st of May where they dont have tornados. Toni, So sorry to hear about your mom, we'll be thinking of you. We passed Lee in the Walmart parking lot yesterday but it was too late to wave as we were already going different directions.
