Scratch, Scratch, Scratching the hitch itch. We are in Lubbock Tx. Going to the Ranch tomorrow for a week or two. Then slowly on West. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

Just a update. My therapist says I am doing great. She is pretty sadistic but has me ahead of schedule. Next Dr. app is the 15th, if he turns me loose we will try to scratch the hitch itch before Christmas. On another note, We had to put our black cat Colie down yesterday. Had not been well for a while and quit eating a week ago. We are morning but know that he is better off in cat haven. He was 16 years old. LIFE IS GOOD!!!! Freddy and Delcie

Iam still here. It's been two weeks since the new hip, I am still on a walker but getting better every day. Delcie is taking good care of me, she has me spoiled. Don't know when we will get to scratch the hitch itch, Thinking mid Dec. Havent been on the internet since the sugery, hope I haven't missed much. LIFE IS GOOD!!!! Freddy and Delcie

Sugery is at Childress. They have a good Hosp. and great orthopedic surgon. And it's just 30 miles from Paducah. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy

I have the hitch itch! It will have to wait a while, I am getting a hip replacement Monday if all goes well. I fell sorry for Delcie for having to put up with me till I recover. It seems that all we have done since closing the campground in early Sept. is Dr. appt. and we have not been sick. Looking forward to getting back on the road. Hoping to see everyone in the Spring. Weather is GREAT here at Paducah Tx. I have never seen it so green all the way down from Colo. ,hard to enjoy it because we know it will change. Travel safe everyone. LIFE IS GOOD!!!! Freddy and Delcie

We close the Campground today. Leave tomorrow for Cochiti Lake for a few days letdown. It has been a tough summer. Next year we are taking a smaller campground with about half the sites, we are getting to old to take care of 45 sites. Delcie has put up with me for 44 years today. There have been good times and hard times but though it all we are still best friends. I LOVE YOU DELCIE!!! LIFE IS GOOD!!!! Freddy

So glad to see activity on this site, hasn't been much since we gave up our identity. We haven't got any solid plans yet. Thinking about the Escapade in March at Tucson again. Jeff and Tina stopped by for a visit Yesterday, they are with Tom and Diane E of Bayfield, It was good to see them. The campground has been busy the last couple of weeks. Happy Fathers Day to the fellows. Glad to see this thred up again. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

Delcie's Sister passed away Wed We were at Casa Grande so we left three days early and just spent one nite at Deming. We are at Crowell Tx. now, after the Funeral Mon. we will go to Paducah and mow the grass. Not sure after that. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

We are at Rovers Roost at .Casa Grande. We spent five weeks at Pilot Knob, enjoyed it except for the heat, it was in the 90's several days, a little uncomfortable boondocking. When we pulled in here found that we had thrown a tread off a trailer tire, glad we made it to the park instead of on the side of the road. Hope everyone is having fun! LIFE IS GOOD!!! We are still at Pilot Knob, will be starting East next weekend. Supposed to get the trailer washed and waone stay safexed today but the wind is sure blowing, might have to cancel if it doesn;t quiit..
