Jeri: Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Looking forward to seeing everyone, will probly be around the 20th before we can get to Q. We get relived from this rig today, ready to travel but have to take care of some stuff before leaving Paducah. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

Well I didn't heed the good advice and got anotherr fall last nite, went down the steps and the welcome mat was solid ice, my feetwent up and I hit on my back in the snow. Luckyly it didn't hurt me, that is the third fall I have had since this storm started. I worry about Delcie but she has done real good so far. We will go to Yuma after Q for a while, then to Parker or somewhere with water, can't let Terry and Jeri have all the fun with Kayak's. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

Well i wrote a long post and lost it so this one will be shorter. It's been under 25' here for the last 3 days down to 14 at nite. I was trying to thaw water in the outside tank so I could fill the freshwater tank in the trailer and fell on the ice, can;t raise my right arm above my sholder, but it is getting better.Delcie woke me today to tell me the water in the fresh tank was froze. When filling the other day due to a ice buildup I broke the bay door off, I had stuck it in the hole but it blew out and the water froze with a elect heater on it. I got it fixed back and moved the heater and it thawed in about 3 hours. We are in good shape now with 2 elect heaters and a Buddy heater running. Praying that everyone stays safe in this weather. Just thought I would bump this thred back to the top as it was so far down. It's been plenty cold here in Oklahoma, had a couple of inches of snow yesterday. We are toasty in the trailer with the 15000 watt gen. they furnish, just running the fireplace and one elect heater. looking forward to Jan. and SW. AZ. Hoping to see everone there. We just want to see everyone wherever. Want to visit Q one day during the big tent but can drive there from anywhere for a day. We like Yuma because of all the stores, and Mexico. We also want to spent some time around water, Imperal dam, Parker dam or maybe Lake Havasu. It will be after the 10th before we can get there, hope everyone is still there. LIFE IS GOOD!!! It has rained hard here at Cochiti Lake for the last four days, it has kept us holed up in the trailer most of the time. We are going to Santa Fe today just to get out. Just heard the news about the Ranch SKP coop flooding, it is our fav. SKP park and it looks like it will be a long time recovering, our prayers are with the folks that live there. Hope all of our classmates are safe and happy. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

We closed the campground yesterday, had a good summer but we are ready to move on. Leaving this morning for Cochiti Lake for a few days then to Texas for Dr. app. Plan to gate guard for three months. then to Az about the first of the year. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion wherever it is. LIFE IS GOOD!!! Freddy and Delcie

We will be in Texas till the 5th or 6th of Jan. starting West then. Anywhere is good for us for the reunion, the folks are what we go for more than the place. We will go to the big tent in Q for a day, and will also go to Pilot Knob for a while. Since we have the kayaks we will want water sometime, Thinking of Lake Havasu, Parker or Imperal Dam in Feb. Jeri: The thing that was the hardes't to figure was how to haul them with a 5th wheel. We have 30" on each side of the back solar panels on top of the trailer and we plan to haul them there. They are just cheapies but they float and are pretty stable. If they haul good we will take them to Az. We are thinking about Lake Havusa, Parker dam and Imperal Dam. LIFE IS GOOD! F & D

I forgot to mention that Tom and Dianne spent a month with us and Dave and Nancy are here now and leaving this morning after two weeks. We have sure enjoyed having friends here. If anyone is close give us a call or come and stay in the campground with us. LIFE IS GOOD!! Freddy and Delcie

We are over halfway through with our hosting job. Have been pretty busy this summer, I inspect boats for zebra mussels three days a week from 4 till 8 Delcie takes care of the campgrounds by herself while I am gone. [she does a good job] We had some camper friends here with kayaks, and we caught the bug from them and bought us a couple. We thought if we were on a bueatiful lake for 4 and a half months we might as well make use of it. The second day we were on the lake I was wearing shorts and blistered my lilly white legs. Dave and Nancy [shadowtracks] came in today, Tom and Dianne came over and we had a good visit. Hope to have many more before they leave. It is so good to have classmates stay in the campground with us. We made it through the 4th of July without any problems and are now waiting for the labor day holiday. Hope everyone is good. Happy Birthday Lee!!! You might want to check the NM. state parks. All the forest in NM are closed due to fire danger. We are under stage 1 restctions here. You can still have campfires in campgrounds in rings but nowhere else. We are looking for them to ban all fires soon. Stay Safe. LIFE IS GOOD!!!! Freddy and Delcie

We made it to our campground late yesterday afternoon, it took me 30 min. to get the 5er twisted around the pines into our site. We are set up for the next 4 mounths. Now the work begins, cleaning up after the winter. We are on Vallecito Lake, Graham Creek campground. 15 mi N of Bayfield Colo. Looking forward to seeing Tom and Dianne in June. We are on our way to Colo for our summer host job. Pland to leave Lubbock Tx this am, The wind hit last nite about midnite and is blowing 35 with gust to 45 so we are setting here hoping it will calm a little this afternoon.
