Believe I have the racecar fixed (for now). Raced last Sunday and it didn't break so we are headed east. Probably will race in Cedar Falls, Ia. in a week and a half. Currently in McCook, Nebraska.

Has everyone updated the map lately?

    Travel safe everyone.

    Jeff     :)

GO GET EM JEFF!!! Glad you are having fun  with the toy.

I think we are one stop behind on moving our pin, need to do that. We are in Pinedale Wyoming (With Tom & Dianne) through today and then will continue our move east.

Looks like the Classless forum has come to a slow halt. Looks like the 2008 & 2009 folks decided to make orphan's out of  the orphans.

  2.  We ae still in but dang, we just got notice that we will once again be switched to a new advisor, that make 3 in the last 2 years. I think it's time for us to kick Edward Jones to the curb and make a switch. We have a meeting on Wednesday with the new guy but it sounds like he is pretty knew overall.

A visit to the vets office about 2 weeks ago we found out that our Cali had a broken tooth again. She got it pulled last Friday and she also had a broken tooth last year. Levi the cat got a rabies shot and he's doing great for a 17 year old cat. Doesn't look a day over 9. LOL.

Here is some real news. We've decided to have a house built on our land near Canyon Lake, Texas. They are going to slow roll the process early so we can still travel this summer and be back in the fall to watch it being built. Probably won't make it to Q next year.

Been busy getting things together for this summer.

    Travel safe everyone.

    Jeff

WOW congrats guys!! I'm not sure I can count the number of RV friends that have decided to do the house thing again this last year but that time will come for most of us sooner or later I guess. Have fun with the build!!

That's a good start but, don't forget Lambeau...I need to hear how my stock is doin'! Gotta do some supper clubs, eh? Ely area of the Boundary Waters is another. The Wolf Center and the Chocolate Moose Restaurant. I'm sure Linda has some good tips!

Oh sure, House on the rocks then on to Milwaukee (probably stay at the fairgrounds, I contacted them via email and will probably call hem in the morning) to visit Harley Davidson Museum and maybe the Pabst Mansion, We already have reservations at Sturgeon Bay in Door County where we will stay 1 week, will be securing reservations at Apple Creek just outside of Green Bay so we can do the train museum, Lambeau Field and other sites around Green Bay and travel to Oshkosh from there for the Oshkosh Airshow at least 1 day and that's just a start.

  5.  We were thinking about waiting until next year and go directly from AZ to Michigan but decided driving through tornado alley this time of year just wasn't going to happen so we decided to head that way from Oregon. What's a few extra miles to avoid what seems to be certain bad weather.

Hey Roger we have the House on the Rocks on our radar on our way to the Harley Museum then Door County.

  6.  Do any of you carry around a Camp Chef system with you? I'm pondering the idea of switching from our Green Mountain Davy Crocket pellet grill to a single burner Camp Chef and a grill box and griddle. Diane isn't much into smoked meat so the Pellet grill just isn't cutting it for us it seems. Even though I tell her that if I cook above 250 or 300 degrees it's not smoking she still says she tastes the smoke flavor. It's a mental thing I thing....SHHHHHHHHH don't tell her I said that!!!

  7. Yup, the new change is going to take some getting used to, so far I'm not a fan.

Yes, getting a little to warm down here for my liking, it will be time to make a move soon and with luck someplace a few degree's cooler. Don't know where yet but we have almost 2 weeks before we need to move so we have time to figure that out.

  8. Dang it, I thought I had that ice cream machine secured! I'm going to have to retrace my steps and see where I went wrong :o We did manage to sneak into Redlands California without the rain clouds finding out, so we'll see if that holds. Nice and sunny and 72 today so i'll take that to the bank. Steve

You need to carry a branch with you and cover your tracks better when hiding the ice cream machine.

  9. VERY windy today in Yuma. Dust flying like crazy and suppose to rain tomorrow. It almost never rains in Yuma but it has rained several times on us in the 4 weeks (two 2 week stays) we've been here. Moving Sunday to Phoenix for a month then Tucson for Escapade. After Escapade heading for Texas.

    Travel safe everyone.

    Jeff :)

Glad to hear you won't make it to Phoenix until Sunday, we are in Gold Canyon to attend a RV airshow and if you came early and brought the rain it would dampen everything LOL!!!

  10. Our stay in Q is over for now. Think we've been here since 1/11. Dave and Diane came by yesterday afternoon with a pizza from Silly Al's. The pizza and talk was good. Thanks. They have both been under the weather lately.

We missed Toni and Doug as they stopped in Q Wednesday. I didn't see an email from her until it was too late. Next time.

We are heading to Yuma today to get new tires on the rv and may stay a couple of weeks before going back to Phoenix for spring training. Our trip to Puerto Penasco got canceled so back to Phoenix sooner than expected.

    Travel safe everyone.

    Jeff :)

It was great being able to catch up a little before you guys took off, travel safe. We will probably hang around Q until at least the 13th and then we may try to find a spot in Surprise for a couple nights before our 4 day reservation in Gold Canyon so we can attend a RC Airshow in the area. If we can't find anything in Surprise we will just hang out in Q until the 16th. Considering Surprise only because we have not stayed in that area before so worth a look see I guess. No plans after Gold Canyon yet.

  11.

We didn't leave we moved to LaPosa South today. LOL. Took over 1 1/2 hours to dump and fill the water tank. How long you staying Dave? Dinner or Lunch?

    Travel safe everyone.

    Jeff :)

We will probably be here on Plomosa for a couple more days before making a move but we will be in Q for al least another 3 weeks. Getting together sounds great.

  12. We left California today. Our last week was boondocking just outside of Borrego Springs. Will be in Yuma for a week then up to Phoenix through the holidays. Plan to see y'all in the area while we are there.

    Travel safe everyone.

    Jeff :)

Did they cut back on the boondocking area outside of Borrego as reported?

  13. We made it out of the carpet shop and they did a fine job. Daniel Humphreys, in Golden, Mississippi owns RV solutions and used to work for Tiffin (the assembly plant) and now has his own business. He does carpets, residential fridges, windows and much more. He did our carpet in one day and it looks great. Now we are finished with the work we needed at the factory and are ready to head out of here next week. We have to rest up a couple of days to make up for the 5:30 AM mornings we had to endure during the repair process. Seems all of these Red Bay people start work at 6 or 7 am and this place is a ghost town by 3:00pm. We did spend two nights living in the paint booth too which was not all bad. We had a small hail storm come through and this is probably the first time I had the bus inside during a storm. It's nice to be able to come to a town that has all of the RV businesses that this place does. They have Bay Diesel too, so you can get your chassis and engine repairs or service done here too. They do have quite a few RV parks, so getting a place to stay was no problem. They do specialize in tiffin motor homes, but I've seen a number of others in here too. It was a little nippy here this morning, 28 degrees, so I was glad I turned the engine aux heat on last night. Sure makes that diesel fire right off on a crispy morning. Our good friends from Oklahoma are here too and they will be getting carpet from the same place on Monday. Now it's time for a little cranberry juice and relax for a while. Steve

Glad to hear you are about ready to head for warmer temps and better overall weather (I hope) and will get a chance to catch up on your sleeping in.

  14.

LOL! I'll remember that each time I put up my Super Bowl 50 Champions flag. Thanks Dave. Unfortunately my team has only won the Super Bowl 3 times in 8 trips to the big game.

    Jeff :)

LOL,,, Being a KC fan I don't want to hear about trips to the big game!!! A winning season for us is making it to the playoffs.

  15. We have Directv but don't do NFL Ticket. It's a bummer when last years Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos aren't on local tv where ever we are. We do have the NFL Network and an ESPN app to follow when we can't watch the Champs. LOL!!!

    Travel safe everyone.

    Jeff :)

You know it's all about what you can do for me now, not what you have done don't ya Jeff.

  16.

That's the way it was here in Palm Springs. We pulled our big slide in Saturday evening and put it back out yesterday evening. Another wind warning today until 8 tonight. Spent yesterday watching tv. Including that debacle last night.

    Travel safe everyone.

    Jeff :)

    Wasn't that a GREAT game!!

  17.

We had just stayed 3 nights at Pechanga Casino and might've got a spot at Jojoba on Friday but we would've had to boondock. The RV park across from Jojoba won't let us low-life Class C's in. LOL! Only class A's and Fifth Wheel's (no toy Haulers). So we moved on to Palm Springs area.

    Jeff :)

Hmm, I didn't realize they didn't take class C's. We have never stayed there but while staying at Jajoba I go over to use there RC Airfield out behind the park. Oh well, their loss.
