  1. It has been in the low 80's, high 70's the last few days. It did get down in the high 40's a couple nights. So not bad. This is our first time out east this time of year as well. NO trouble with campsites but where we are now has a music festival next weekend and is booked full so you never know.
  2. We will be picking up sticks today and move from Luray Virginia just a short ways to Charlottesville. We want to check out the Montacello (spelling). Probably only stay there for 3 days and then move east towards Williamsburg or Virginia Beach.
  3. After having our fill of the Hershey RV show we have finally moved down into Virginia. Sitting just outside Luray now until Thursday. Cloudy and cool but from reading about the stuff going on elsewhere we feel pretty darn lucky. Glad everyone is safe and sound, even if you are wet.
  4. It's been in the 70's the last few days here in Hershey PA. But it's suppose to be in the 90's the next couple days with higher humidity. Then drop back into the 70's Friday. Go figure,, we are going to the RV show in the morning and Thursday, the hottest days. But we would rather deal with the heat than the crowds.
  5. That sounds like a lot of fun Steve. Isn't it much better than sitting around waiting for the next tornado to come through LOL!!
  6. This is our last day in Kutztown PA. Headed just up the road to Manheim PA outside of Hershey in the morning. We will hang around there until the 16th and then head to Virginia.
  7. Happy Birthday Steve!! Just think,, you can ditch that fake ID and drink legal now!!
  8. OK MAN!!! We attended the Hamburger festival in Hamburg PA and I had a hamburger with bacon on a glazed donut!!!! I can't tell you how good that was!!!
  9. Yep,, what Paul said. We lost one and bought the look alike for I think $20. I went ahead and bought 2. One is still stored below foe when it happens again. The only diff is the look alike does not say Freightliner on it. But heck,, by the time I walk from one side of the MH to the other I forget anyway LOL!!
  10. Well we LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay in the Intercourse PA area. Great food,,, nice and neat farms,,, lots of fresh produce,, nice people and did I mention GREAT food!! But all good things have to come to a end. We moved from Intercourse to Kutztown today. A big ol 60 mile travel day LOL!!! In Intercourse we could sit on our front deck,,, yes deck and watch the Amish work a farm. At this new spot we get to watch a couple cowboys and girls work horses. YES LEE!!!! Cowgirls!!! I thought of you when I saw them,,,, well not right away LOL!!!
  11. We stayed at Plomosa Road for a while outside of Q and just went in and dumped and picked up water at the Pit Stop in town when needed. And we stayed in Scaddan Wash for a few days but had a lot of freeway noise. We have stayed at LAPOSA South as well but it was a lot more crowded and dusty but had a good time.
  12. Well,, I guess I'm what they call a thread killer. I'm the last poster on the 2012 thread AND the Class-less. I'm just going to my corner and play by myself....
  13. Time for us to leave Gettysburg and move just a little ways today to Intercourse Pa.,.Amish country should be interesting.
  14. This is our last night in Bedford PA. Had a pretty good time and toured every day we were here!! I'm almost tired. In the morning we lift jacks and take the short journey to Gettysburg PA. where we will spend a week. That should be a very busy place for touring. Looking forward to it.
  15. Today we left West Virginia and are now in Pennsylvania.
  16. I think the last time I mentioned where we were was when we were about to leave Georgetown Kentucky. Since then we went to Beach Fork state park just south of Huntington West Virginia and stayed a week. Very nice park but had no cell or internet service and the road in was tough. After that we headed to Stonewall Jackson State Park also in West Virginia where we are now until the 6th. This is another great place, Next week we head up into Pennsylvania.
  17. Ohhhh,, that's a easy fix,, just leave it open LOL!! But the novelty of it will wear out in just a few short weeks.
  18. Are you going to take a brewery tour our just a sampling trip??
  19. You will love those sea level gauges!!
  20. Today is our last night in Georgetown KY. In fact Kentucky period for now. In the morning we head into West Virginia
  21. I meant that it was the first and only time in Q. We actually enjoyed our time there. Not sure if we will spend as much time as we did last winter but will certainly spend a couple weeks at least. We have never been in the east before and it has been something we have talked about for years so I guess we will just belly up and deal with it this year so we can see the sights. And it has not been that bad so far. But next year we plan to spend summer in the cooler states.
  22. IYQ and us have come pretty close to crossing paths a couple times but we have done just that,,, crossed paths. And we were just a stop away from checking out Steve's favorite Ice Cream,,,, I mean Casino but he decided to turn the fan on high in the area and caused us to get skurd and hurry on by!!! I think he was busy picking up sticks anyway at that time. Our last time in Q was our first time as well and we got wrapped up with the Tiffin group and didn't venture out much I guess so we missed everyone. I don't think we really were involved with the classless class yet,, just the 2012 group. But we are looking forward to meeting others hopefully even before Q but I think most everyone is smarter than us and are either in or headed to cooler states while we are doing the eastern thing in the humidity LOL!!
  23. We have been in Cave City KY for the last week. Have had a good time doing a couple Mammoth Cave tours and enjoying the small town events like a Concert in the street and a growers market. But tomorrow it's time to move on to Georgetown KY just a few miles north of Lexington.
