  1. Before you do anything else, be sure your RV is ready to tow. To properly install your sway bar, make sure your automobile is parked on a level, even surface. Use the parking brake and vehicle immobilizers to keep your trailer from rolling away. This should be enough to secure your RV in its parking spot.
For a better and easier installation, you can also raise your towing vehicle to the RV's level.

  2. The cassette toilet is a better choice if your RV is small, or if you have no black tank in your camper. A cassette toilet has a waste tank capacity of 5 gallons, more or less, depending on the model.
The cassette toilet is easier to maintain in terms of maintenance. Simply discard the garbage when it's full, and the tank and toilet bowl will be cleaned at the same time. Simply fill the tank with water and your preferred cleaning solution.

  3. I have a Lippert stabilizer jack kit, cannot tell you how much I love this, I installed on our 5th wheel and on our first trip I fell in love with it. Our 5th wheel is 39 feet long and 10,000 pounds and this made our camper so much more secure. This should be a standard item on all campers. It was so easy to wire, and an excellent product to enjoy for many years. I strongly recommend getting rid of scissor jacks and put these on all campers

  4. I have a RecPro blinds,  the thing that I liked the most about this RV shade is its lovely and relaxing cappuccino brown color. The color of the blinds brings the entire look of the interior of my trailer together. It is neutral yet very provocative.

  5. Camco is a great awning cleaner, it is tested to be safe for generally all kinds of awning fabrics. It is a highly concentrated cleaning product, so you need to dilute it in some water for regular cleaning purposes. Just 4 ounces of this cleaner mixed into a gallon of water is strong enough to clean even the largest RV awning thoroughly.

  6. It requires a ladder, and wash brush. You can make good use of the Camco RV Flow-Through Wash Brush as it has a very long handle. This particular feature provides me with more than enough reach to clean even a 30-foot RV. Because I am not very tall, having a wash brush that allows me to reach the top edge of my RV without using a ladder is advantageous.

  7. When you have automatic RV steps but they do not retract, the switches for the door & the door frame are not aligned correctly.
Moreover, the cause may be the override switch that makes the steps remain extended while the RV’s parked. To fix this, check and turn the control switch to the auto position.

  8. When it comes to RV GPS, Rand McNally and Garmin are the two most well-known manufacturers. Both of these items provide useful and high-quality performance, leaving little space for debate over which is superior. Nonetheless, consider the following suggestions.

    - Rand McNally provides larger devices, allowing them to add higher-quality speakers. These are useful if you want to answer more calls while using the hands-free mode.
    - Garmin devices include information on sites of interest, RV parks, and other locations. Rand McNally, on the other hand, doesn't have anything to give in this regard.

  9. I was seeking a reasonably priced RV bubble level with a simple design when I came across this model. Despite their modest appearance, the two levels in the box enabled me to level my RV without any major issues or difficulties. As a result, I can state right away that this product is suitable for beginners.

  10. The service life of a propane detector is determined on how it was manufactured. Some older gas leak detectors have an average service life of five years, and the countdown begins on the date of manufacture. Many brands of detectors have a service life of six to eight years, and the clock begins the moment you turn it on.

  11. If you are looking for a mattress that can be stacked up during the day to create space in the RV and can serve as a fully-fledged bed at night, then the Tri-fold RV Queen from Best Price Mattress is the one for you. It is light, layered, affordable, and has perfect dimensions (74*60*4 inches) for your RV.

  12. You can recharge the battery using a variety of techniques, the most effective of which is utilizing the RV generator. You no longer have to dread if your battery gets drained while you are in the middle of your camping trip. You just need to prepare your batteries, hook up the generator to your RV and wait a couple of hours to get them running again.

  13. I think Garmin is a great choice. Garmin’s trademark feature shows the driver which are the suitable routes for the size of their vehicle. In addition, it gives out detailed instructions on everything in your path, including the size and height of any bridge along the way.

  14. My vacuum cleaner is a Black & Decker, and it's fantastic. Because we have dogs and cats, as well as a lot of hardwood floors, we have tumbleweeds all over the place. This was purchased as a quick cleanup item that I could simply transport upstairs and downstairs.  It's also worth mentioning that this compact RV vacuum comes with a 2-year warranty.
