Hey the SUN has returned to my part of the Pacific North West. YYEEEEEHHAAAAWWWWWW So yesterday we headed over to Anacortes, WA and walked onto the ferry going to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. Once there we rented a "Scoot Coupe" for the day and proceeded to tour the Island. Met a GREAT park volunteer out at American Camp and learned a lot more about the "Pig War" between America and England. Thanks Janice. Ended up our day on the Island at a restaurant over looking Friday Harbor and the Marina. Joe

I woke up this morning and thought I was in HEAVEN. Wait, I am in HEAVEN. Today is one of those PNW days that we live for up here. AND I HAVE THE DAY OFF. Now I just need to break out the Weed eater, Spray all the Dandelions, Spray the fence lines, and then collapse and enjoy some Cranberry Juice. Joe

Neither, my place only has Electric and if you WHINE a lot, Water. However the "Cranberry Juice" supply is getting better all the time. Joe

HMMMMMM I have been WORKING on my vocabulary, but the dang weatherman ain't helping me. So guess I'm jess gonna have to break out the Long John's and suffer through all this RAIN, WIND, and COLD by myself as I WORK for a while yet. They do tell us that summer is coming, all 3 days of it. Joe

Sure is good to hear about all the good weather that most of the class is having. The great PNW is still having a problem getting rid of the rain. So I've been using the time to work on restocking the "Cranberry Juice". However it does appear that I'm going to have to take a break from that and actually do some W*** starting this next week. Hope to see some of you folks up here in this area before our summer (we generally get at 2 weeks of it ) is over. Steve, you jess gotta get that house deal done so you can get up here for that wedding. Joe

Lee sure wasn't up in my neck of the woods then. I left Woodland yesterday am heading for Pt Townsend and the ferry back to Whidbey Island. (Going that way I can avoid the SLUMattle mess ) I had Sun, Wind, POURING Rain, and Hail. But I'm back at the Homestead enjoying the view once again. Joe

Seems I've had to read a whole bunch of WHINING about the HIGH Temperatures, HIGH Wind, etc. on here of late. So here's a reminder of what COOLER weather looks like. Really wish I'd had my real camera with me instead of just the cell phone. Joe

Sounds good to me. TTN La Conner is fairly close to the marina, but not at the marina. Also you will have NO cell service there except at the clubhouse. Other than that a decent place to stay. Joe

Just picked up supplies for doing that last week. So I should have it at least partially restocked by the time you get here. :l Joe

Far as I know I'm gonna be here. Maybe set up something with Jeri, Terry, Toni, Doug, and myself..................on second thought, maybe not, don't think WA is ready for all of that group together at one time. :o Joe

Toni, Was great seeing You, Doug, and of course Parker. Food was good and the company was GREAT. As for the weather, it was one of those days that reminds us why we love it up here in the NW, FANTASTIC. No trouble at the border heading home either, only real question was "Is there any Alcohol in those kits?" Answer was NOT YET, Sir. But I sure hope to change that real soon. Joe

Steve, just let me know when you get to Seattle. I'll have a bottle of the BAAD Whiskey ready. Heck by then I might even have Water run to the shop to go along with the Electric hook ups. Joe
