Jeri and Terry showed up today with a bottle of Cranberry Juice. So while the Smoker was working on the Salmon, we sat on the deck, looked at the water, drank Cranberry Juice and Soda, and TALKED ABOUT EVERYONE THAT WASN'T HERE. :lol: Had a great visit, and the Salmon is finally done. Joe

Oh I figure it to be done sometime between noon and 4. You can see one of those parks as the ferry docks on this side, and I'm located between it and the other one. Steve, glad you guys are finally on the road. Now I only have to worry about whether or not there is gonna be any of that BAAAAD Whiskey left when you get here with the Ice Cream Machine. Joe

HMMMMMMMM and here I spent a good share of the day hiding the Cranberry Juice. Just got the Salmon in the brine, should light off the smoker in the morning around 9ish. Joe

Cool, what time are your reservations for. (that way I know when to leave. ) Actually I'll be around pretty much all day as I have a batch of Salmon to go in the smoker. Joe

No Kidding, discovered my supply in the "Doghouse" had almost been depleted. Then today we ran into equipment problems so I came back and washed the MH, then I raided my buddies supply of that BAAAD Whiskey. So kinda looks like I'm going to be here till Friday. Oh well I managed to pick up 3 Salmon to take home and run through the smoker. :D Joe

Spiker .... where are you? Actually I got a case of "Hitch Itch" today and am now parked in my PRIVATE RV spot real near "EH" land. Heck you and Terry aren't the onliest ones that can figure out how to move north. I might actually be closer to Doug and Toni than I am to you guys. That said, I'm sittin here trying to get rid of some more of that BAAAD WHISKEY. (Left all the Cranberry Juice at home base) Joe

Easy Jeri, you keep celebrating like that your gonna throw something outta joint. Yesterday up here was just plain crappy, we cancelled plans to visit the local Rhoddy Garden, because of rain, and also had planned to jump on the ferry and head over to Pt Townsend for lunch, dumped that idea also. So we just went to a local pub for Burgers and Shrimp then BBQ's a rack of Ribs while we watched it rain. Joe

YES we are finally back to the weather that makes this THE place to be in the summer time. Joe

Got to Pacific Beach, WA yesterday just after noon. Managed to get a front row space and by pulling in front first, instead of backing in, can sit here looking out over the Pacific Ocean. So I gots a WATER VIEW once again. Once we set up, it was off to the casino for some grub and games. Managed to let them folks pay for my lunch, so that was good. Then after a glass of cranberry juice we walked over to the on site Restaurant for dinner. Good food and reasonably priced. Finished the day with a visit to the Hot Tub. This place is an old Navy Base and is now run by the Navy's Moral, Welfare, and Recreation Dept. Nice RV Park and much more. Joe

After a loooong day of travel today, my "Water View" is of the rain that just started. But WOW I got to move my peg on the map. Actual driving was just under 10 miles, but there was that really long 30 minute ferry ride in the middle of it. So then it was time to Chill with a glass or 3 of Cranberry Juice followed by Fish and Shrimp with Chips for dinner here at the Pt Townsend Elks. Tomorrow is gonna be BRUTAL, all the way to Pacific Beach. Joe

Looks like I'm gonna trade one water view for another for a few days. Heading for the coast tomorrow for the weekend. Then back home to get started on projects. At least I'm gonna be able to work the flat spots outta the tires on the Doghouse. Joe

Hey guys, glad to hear your enjoying things. But as you know, when someone is goofing off as much as you are, then someone else has to WORK to take up the slack. As for the water view, I've been to so many different angles of the water view this past week my poor head is still spinning. Think I might just have to get in the rig and go someplace for a few days. I could use the rest. Joe

Good job Steve, what's next on the JOB list. Been sitting out on the deck in shorts today, at least till the cops showed up and told me to quit scaring the natives. Seems the sun flashing off all this white skin was creating flashes that were blinding the local pilots. :lol: Ok, Jerry and Janice need to cover their Eyes, cause I'm gonna use one of them 4 letter words. Gotta WORK this weekend so Happy Hour will start a bit latter each day. Actually got up to 58 here this afternoon which is dang near perfect. HMMMMMMMMMMM, talked with a friend in Tulsa last evening and from what she said they must be getting way different weather than you guys. Said it was HOT and HUMID there. Pretty nice here yesterday, after the clouds went away. And this morning is FANTASTIC, sun is shining, water is calm, mountains look great, temperature in the low 50's. Yep looks just like Paradise. Well that Grand Kid thing must be in the air. Little Logan arrived last Monday, Mom, Dad, and big Sister are all doing well, as is Logan. Hmmmmmm this makes number 7 for me also. (But someone already got him a Football, a Baseball Bat, and a Glove ) And NO I don't have any pictures of him YET. Somebody kept forgetting to take the camera with him. Joe

Hey Steve, Not doing to well right now, TO WET. However we might jess be slinging a bit tomorrow. As far as I know right now I'll be here in August, and yep always room for a couple of Moochers. Since I ended up with the day off, I decided to put a bunch of Cheese in the Smoker. Got a bit of Monterrey Jack, Dubliner White Cheddar, Gouda, Mozzarella, and some Pepper Jack in there. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Joe PS Been working hard on the Cranberry Juice Supply also, but someone keeps breaking into the supply shed. :rolleyes:
