Not to change subject, but on this two month trip I’m on, I’ve only had limited luck finding room for my 20’ trailer and PU in a FlyingJ. A couple times, their latest list of truck stops offering RV parking (2016 edition) is inaccurate. 

Ive been staying in regular rest areas without any issues. Lastnight I was in the best I’ve ever stayed in. Amarillo TX info center off RT40 exit 76. Special area for RV with wide parking spots for slides. Very easy in and out. But not over 13’ high. In that case yo7 need to go to the ajo8ningbtruck area. Also very nice.

I use the Kureg Hotel Room coffee maker and run it off a 1000w inverter. Love it! Makes at least 6 cups of coffee a morning if my wife is with me. Uses only 750w. Takes 3 minutes a cup. Nothing to clean and each person get the type and brand coffee they like.

I've been riding and racing motorcycles for over 40 years. And loading a motorcycle into my toy hauler scared the S out of me . Especially if the road was wet, that front turf hit the tile floor and it was like being on ice! The ramp was way too steep. I modified my ramp with an extension and now loading is a breeze.

Great story... how is your friends health? Anything serious?
