I use a ZTE Mobley (hot spot) and run it through my WiFi Ranger Go AC.  There are several gigabite ports so you can hard wire if you need to.

Unless you disable the wi-fi function on the Mobley and tether it to the Ranger via a hard  wired USB cable, she will have a security violation since one leg in her communication (Between the Ranger and MIfi) is via wireless.

  2. The requirement is for a wired connection from the modem to her computer.  That modem can be a device located within the RV.

Get a MiFi type modem with an ethernet port and a Verizon grandfathered unlimited (ie Non-Throttleable)(Avail on Ebay for ~ $100 - $130/month) (Ask the ebay seller for a modem recommendation.)

You then meet the hardwiring requirements and are online everywhere and D/L speeds are usually ~28 MPBS

Or paint graffiti on his business or home outside wall.  I bet he would want to see you in jail.

And the system would charge and fine the perpetrators without all the self-styled vigilantes extracting their private revenge on those associated with the perpetrators.   The system defines the severity of the crime and defines punishment.  Vigilantes do not have the right to heap their punishments on top.

Your real argument is that you don't think the laws in place to deal with Anderson for his actions are sufficient and you propose to exact a greater penalty on him than those statutes call for.  Certainly, there are some actions which justify the destruction of a business and the suffering of it's employees.  I just don't agree that a rock in the desert is more important than the lives which will suffer if this business goes under.  JMO

  5. I hope the ads go far beyond workamping.

How about some of the vendors that attend shows giving their experiences. Alibaba has a plethora of items that most vendors buy in bulk and sell at these shows. If some ex-vendors can give their experiences - item, source, cost, mark-up, booth costs, expenses, quantity sold at typical show, good & bad venues, etc it would be an invaluable resource and allow others to start up their own business.

How about existing vendors needing booth attendants?

How about existing vendors franchising what they've found successful?

  6. Hmmmmmmm Jan sell 100 lifetime memberships @$800 ea = $80K in kitty. Then Valentine's special offering reduced rates if you prepay membership. Sounds like some investment is afoot. They are mortgaging their future cash flow for some purpose and obviously want or need a cash infusion.

I wonder how much it would cost to start a small mail service in Bushnell, FL?

  7. Look - This issue has Escapees between a rock and a hard place unless they can get it resolved. If Escapees advertised this widely last year, their growth,i.e. new members, would be adversely affected. Handling it quietly behind the scenes to try and get it overturned may have been the best road for all concerned.

  8. Kirk,

Legally, right now, I agree BUT various financial institutions and being overly zealous in demanding proof of residency and are rejecting any that show (in their database) as a commercial / drop box address. (Several threads on this problem.) The banks don't care what is legal, they are free to set their own more restrictive policies and many have.

Escapees may want to get millions of potential physical addresses into the USPS database before the loophole of PMBs gets slammed shut.

EDIT: PS: It's one of those things that costs nothing but some computer time and may be a valuable asset in the future.

  9. Will escapees give you an annual lease on say 1 sq inch in their park with each membership. Assign your Box number as a street address to each parcel - should satisfy the requirement to have a lease on real property and don't have to show some #, Suite, Box etc in your address!

I remember getting a deed of 1 sq inch of property in Alaska from Quaker Oats when I was a kid. Wish I had kept it as they were valid deeds and the Oil Companies were trying to buy them up a number of years ago. So dealing in 1 sq inch parcels of real property is not without precedent!
