  1. Your B&W hitch will have a hole in the center towards the front of the hitch. This is to allow you to open the lever and drop the pin in it. This allows the jaws to release as the pin comes away from the front of the jaws. My B&W was the smoothest hitching and unhitch that I have ever had once I figured it out.

    Howdy Brian,

Thanks for the shopping list, I'll see what I can round up, going to seattle is about the worst thing I can think of, worse then cleaning battery cables in the rain.  Thanks for again coming to my rescue.

Isn’t that the truth about SEATTLE?  Go there almost every day

  3. Dave I put Bostrom in my Kenworth. The shop in Tulalip was having a good sale but did not have a ton in stock. He sent me to the International dealer just up the road in Mount Vernon. They had a good selection on the floor. We sat in all of them. Glad we did cause what I thought I wanted we did not like. They had all of them on bases with air to try. That was a couple years ago but might be worth a trip as it’s not far from you.

  4. My tanks are getting a little oxidized and last trip I lost an ac line to sleeper and ran Freon all over passenger side tank. I tried to wash off but no luck. Ended up sanding tank which worked very good. So good that I will sand the other one as well and clean up all the oxidation. I need to go back and polish now. My question is which size polishing wheel works the best. I can get 8” or 10”. I think 8” will work a little better to get right up and under sleeper for tops of tanks. I think 10” will work better over all for tank and wheel finish. Really I don’t know what I think so your thoughts would be appreciated

  5. I have used Lucas fuel additive in the HDT for quite a few years. Last year while fueling a really nice old Pete pulled up next to me and of course we started while our tanks filled and our wallets emptied. We both had Cat motors. He saw me putting in the additive and mentioned Howe’s fuel treatment. He swore it made his old Cat run better. Since I was out of the other I grabbed some Howe’s for the next trip. Truck does seem to run quieter. If your truck is old like mine they were before low sulfur diesel and can use some sort of lubrication no matter what it is. I have used amsoil diesel plus cetain in the lgt for years. I guess that was a long winded way of saying I use stuff and they all seem to provide some benefit

  6. I'm not sure if the back cycler can be added after thought. If I didn't have them now I would know they were good or I was missing anything :) drove a lot of miles in the old seats with no issues at the time. Some times not knowing and not having is not a bad place to be.
