Several years ago we had a MH on a large Kenworth chassis, tanks were low, was in a high fuel price area, cost $1000   to fill, will never forget. Maybe one way to eliminate fuel sicker shock would be small tanks. 

Florida has towns like Frost Proof, Winter Haven, etc.

Do you have an Airstream Atlas? How do you like it?  Plus and minus?

If you do feel a need to brake going down a grade, push HARD for a short distance then let up. Do not push gently on the brake when going down a grade. That's how you burn up your brakes.

Nobody mentioned Mercedes, we had a Freightliner with 450 HP, got 8-9 pulling really heavy outfit. 

Batteries are one thing the dealers are usually competitive on.

I had wanted to do this the week after the ECR, but so many folks hang out for the "after party", plus we have an appointment at Parkers Crossroads for some work on the rv.  And, we know of a couple folks who will be at Little Farm in early June.

A benefit of doing this at the last minute is that it'll hopefully be small this year, and can get a feel for what folks want.

I think if zip ties disappeared our rig would collapse right in the middle of the road.  

Have a "Q", smaller size, sparker out after around 4 years. Have to be careful getting cleanup scraps on the burner, really hard to unplug the little holes.

I drain as much as I possibly can, add pink, pump it everywhere. I then go back underneath and crack each drain to be sure the pink got there.
