Verizon has an unlimited prepaid plan.  Looks like it’s back again.  We’ve been using for over a year https://www.verizonwireless.com/prepaid/#singlePlan

The "old" Verizon prepaid plan was not throttled. A lot of "unlimited" plans are throttled after XX number of gigs. Yeah, it is "unlimited" but also virtually unusable after that preset amount. That would be my question about this one.

  2. Glenn, sure am sorry to hear about your troubles. If I can help, just yell. I managed to get out for my trip this morning before the flooding got bad, I won't be back for a month.
You know where I live, luckily for me even during Harvey it was hi and dry. I couldn't get out but it was safe. I sure got lucky this morning, my timing was good.

When you have said what you want to say and left a phone number to call "if interested", what else is there to say?

    EXACTLY!

If posted to many forums, or even only this one. It is polite to come back and say thanks much, my problem is solved. But the first post?  with a phone number? On the first day joining? and the only post made? I will stay away from this one.

If, as you mentioned, it was posted to many places maybe they missed one when saying "Thanks. Problem solved"? And why stay away? Why not do a little research rather than tell people to avoid something that you know absolutely nothing about?

There is a phone number listed. Give them a call.

I have to wonder if anyone ever even tried the number to see what response they got?_______________________________________________________________________________________

With a little effort (very little) a quick internet search of the phone number might lead you to a Vet Clinic employee in, wait for it.....LUBBOCK, TEXAS which was the OP's originating location. And she has used this phone number in a few dog rescue posts on other social media over an extended period of time. That little research might even get you her name and the name of the vet clinic.  Gee that was so hard...but it seems that some people are too lazy and distrusting to use the brains that God gave them. Or maybe they are simply crusty old bastards. Could it still be a scam? Sure it could but either way as much as I whine about the younger generation, it appears that my generation is no better.
I guess we will never know if it was a scam or not since rather than call and assist, ya'll would rather just make silly disparaging comments about the OP's intentions. I sure hope the OP reached her destination by the date she mentioned. I kinda wish I had seen this earlier and been available. I might have managed a trip to AZ to help a lady out.

The maximum 5th wheel length is 53', there is no distinction between a commercial 5th  wheel trailer and a recreational 5th wheel trailer.

This website is 3 years old, the towing information is at the most 3 years old: https://www.rvtripwizard.com/rv-info/state-road-laws.php

It also says trailer length 28'6", which I suspect is a mis-print from AZ on both websites. It states above that, maximum overall length is 65', to me this means their intent is commercial vehicles since 28' 6" subtracted from 65' = 36' 6" for truck length.

Ray, if you are looking for info on the legal length limits, please do not rely on a trailer manufactures website. You will also find that there ARE distinctions between commercial vehicle lengths and RV vehicle lengths, since the length laws for each are set by different agencies (one by the Feds, the other by each state). You will have better luck (and certainly better information) if you look at the USDOT website ...for commercial vehicles and the specific state you are interested in....for recreational vehicles.

The reference to 28'6" trailers is related to the Federal regulations on tractors towing TWO trailers, each 28'6". It is not a mis-print or allowing for a 36ft long truck.  Arizona law ( Title 28 > Chapter 3 > Article 18 > Section 28-1095) follows the Federal Regulations for commercial vehicles and says "The length of a semitrailer operating in a truck tractor-semitrailer combination shall not exceed fifty-seven feet six inches." and " The length of a semitrailer or trailer operating in a truck tractor-semitrailer-trailer combination  (a three vehicle combination) shall not exceed twenty-eight feet six inches".
That same section also says that those lengths do not apply to recreation trailers and their power units, which are limited to 65ft. Arizona law also allows for recreational vehicles to tow two trailers so long as it all is less than 65ft overall.

A recreational vehicle may pull two units if all of the following conditions are met:

    (a) The middle unit is equipped with a fifth wheel and brakes.  The middle unit may be a farm vehicle or a horse trailer and shall have a weight equal to or greater than the rear unit.

    (b) If the rear unit has a gross weight of three thousand pounds or more, it is equipped with brakes.

    (c) The total combined gross weight of the towed units does not exceed the manufacturer‘s stated gross vehicle weight of the towing unit.

Looking in the correct place for the correct information is just as easy as looking in the wrong places for incorrect information.

PS.  With that Conformis, knee joint you have a Peterbilt, quality part in your body, that may or may not have an adverse reaction to your truck. 🤣

So what you are saying, Dave, is that Rocky is having to settle for 2nd best when he coulda had a Volvo knee? :)

  6. Parking is not "left at a location" in the aspect that this ordinance is written. You claim they are citing people based on them looking like they live in their RV. There is a big difference between parking and looking like you are living in it, and any reasonable person understands that. Read the intent of their ordinance. Before issuing a citation an officer must determine if the "camping is due to homelessness". I do not want people in a junky RV living in parking lots or the side of public roads. Go find an RV park. You are misconstruing the intent and subject of this ordinance to feed some silly paranoia.

I stand by my first post. And you are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Wow...what a fruitcake. He is hung up on the definition of paraphernalia and totally skipping the words "camp" and "store". According to this wack-job you can get a ticket for going shopping for a tent and driving home with it.

Oh well,  the world is full of conspiracy nuts.
