  1. This is just another revenue maker to charge for pets. Just like "resort fees" for BS stuff that most people don't use. I think it has very little to do with what they leave behind. I see plenty of what is left behind not picked up by campground employees either. And the not over a certain weight rule? So my dog shits bigger she's not welcome? I've seen $2 to $5 per night for pets. This can add up to a significant increase to your stay. And for people like us who don't use the parks common facilities and we pick up after our dogs this is "messy" situation.

    The Ranch

We just stayed 4 nights in Park Of The Sierras in Coarsegold, CA. We made a reservation a couple of months ago. It all went to plan. $26 a night for 50amp and the Best Wifi I've ever experienced in an RV park. Super friendly people. The clubhouse is very nice with a Boutique, Pool room, laundry, restrooms/showers, and a huge library, etc... We really enjoyed our visit there. The New Years eve bash was pretty good as well. Lots of planned activities. There is a casino a few miles away with fuel prices well below the California average. Grocery stores not far away. Lots of restaurants. The sites are big and level. The only issue is the windy roads if you have a long rig. Also I never seen so many golf carts outside of a golf course. LOL. We will definitely go back but probably in a warmer time of the year.
  3. We are getting a Lab puppy soon to be our full time pet in 2 years so this is a good question for us. Thanks for asking it. We thought we would have our Rottie for a few more years but she is gone now. No more aggressive bread restrictions even though it should be owner restrictions some times. My pet peeve is owners who throw their dogs out in a metal fenced kennel on their site and let them bark at everyone that walks by. The other one is the ones that might be down a dead end road who think that keeping their dogs contained doesn't apply to them and you have to deal with 80 lb dogs charging at you not knowing whats going to happen. I did see a pet pig the last time we went out though. That was kind of cool. James
  4. Hi Jim and Judy. I saw in your signature that you have a 5th wheel and a Ford F250 SS. Is this your tow vehicle for this trailer? I'm asking because it is a similar size 5th wheel we want to purchase and we have a GMC Sierra 2500 SS Diesel. Thanks for you help. James
