  1. I just got a email "Camp Coast to Coast". Good Sam is associated with this. Offers a Free 3 day 2 night stay. All you need to do is listen to a 90 minute personal presentation. Sounds like "time share" to me? What do you think? Anybody been to one of these 90 minute presentations? How much does it cost to join? And what its all about? Thanks.
  2. Bolts are 100% electric w/ 60 KW battery. The 2020 Bolts have a 66 KW Battery. It charges up about 4 miles/ hour. Slow I agree, but 4 x 24 hours = 96 .... almost 100 miles/ 24 hours. This charging rate is just fine for me and I find no need to install a 220 volt/ faster charging station. I have had the car 2 years and purchased new. Ball park $'s, the car was 40k, discounted about 10k, minus $7500 tax credit, minus $2500 cash back from the state of Oregon = 20K TOTAL. The 7500 tax credit has expired, the State cash back still exists. I really love this car and is my main mode of travel and everyday of use. Wave of the future.😀. There has been a recall on my car regarding the battery. But the 2020's have no recall if you are tempted to buy one.
  3. I have a 2019 Chevy Bolt. Pretty neat car. If the terrain is right you can drive for free, generating energy as you go down hill. My bolt get around 4 miles/ KWH. Which equals about 3 cents a mile. Range fully charged is around 250 miles. No special outlet is required. Just plug in to 120V. I am waiting for an electric car that I can tow all four down. And as you are towing, it will charge the electric car up. If anyone is interested in getting their feet wet, you can get some real good buys on new Chevy Bolts. Some discounts up to $10,000. Plus rebate from your particular State. $2500 here in Oregon

  6. We travel with a Cockatiel. And have a large cage secured on the Kitchen Counter with 1/4 inch All Thread/ and Wing Nuts thru the cage and into one of the Kitchen Cabinets. The bird is a very good traveler. For water we use bottle water.
  7. Our dogs are LITTER BOX trained. We have Chihuahuas. We place the Litter Box in the Shower and use the Clumping Cat Litter. Line the shower with a wee wee pad, plus one on the bathroom floor. Also have a 12vdc vacuum.
