  1. Well. she did pay for our meal, we had cake and pie but Jeri only sampled, so she said.
  2. Now that was a nice bird, I can't believe anything could be as stubborn as Ed. Let us know when you head east and maybe we can get together.
  3. When you head east, plan on spending the night in Beaumont, Tx so we can meet up with you. If that is not possible, let's try to meet and have a meal together.
  4. Wonder if that was Jeri going by!!! Do you see a broom? I couldn't help myself, I thing the same gal came by here also, it got windy and cold here.
  5. Linda- if you come across on I-10, stop in Beaumont, Tx and I will help you dump. If nothing else stop and we will go get something to eat. You can spent the night or as long as you want. Call and I will give you more directions 678 315-7716 Jerry and Janice
  6. About an hour North of MOAB is a ghost town called Thompson Springs, Utah. There is a nice RV Park called Ballard RV Park. Pull thru sites with full hookups. Close to the interstate but not that noisy. Rates are 25.00 for 30 amp and 29.00 for 50 amp. They also have few double wides that they rent out in case you have people fly in and need a place to stay. They rent ATVs and will provide guided ATV rides to see the sites. Dinosaur tracks, eggs, etc. There is a convenience store but that is all there is to shop at. JIm and Sandy are the managers and great people and live in their RV full time. I went to school with the lady that owns the park. Here is a link to the web site. http://moabrvpark.com/index.asp In case MOAB is full. Jerry and Janice
  7. Just had a great time meeting Roadhouse Charley and his lovely wife Deloris, Charley has been trying all week to set a date to get together but things kept getting in the way. Well today Janice and I a decided to go to a local Apple festival. Jeri- Washington is not the only place that grows apples. We had just got there when I got phone call from a Virginia number. I answered it and it was Charley, they had just arrived at the Apple festival also with their in-laws. We meet in front of a bunch of antique tractors (probably some Lee had driven when new)and talked for a while. Paul and Sue did not get talked about at all. We don't know where we are going to be this winter but Charley and Deloris plan on being in Fla. It was great to meet Charley and Deloris after reading their posts. Great catch Paul and Sue for getting them to join the group. Jerry and Janice
  8. Who else but Jeri would go to Hawaii and have two hurricanes and an earthquake expected while she is there. I can't wait for her to tell us about it at the campfire. Hope she gets home safe.
  9. Lee- Now I know why Tom Wolfe's carvings are so good, you must have taught him. Ed and Linda- I don't know about the company you are keeping. Have fun with Terry, Jeri and Joe. Jeri and Terry- Enjoy the San Juans and quit picking on Joe. He has always told it like it is and if Joe said it, it must be true, right? LOL Carol- Great to hear your knee is doing better, all that kicking Steve's butt to keep him straight took a toll on it. Joe- Ed, Linda and Terry are nice, Keep giving Jeri heck, she deserves every bit of it. Ask her what she did to me at the fair in TX. Tom and Diane- have you went to get the petrified fish quarries yet? The Green Valley area of Wyoming is beautiful. Paul and Sue- Stay as far away from Coldsmoke as you can, he isn't right. Now Deb is great and I have no idea how she puts up with Mike. Love both of you and hope to see you again one of these days. Toni and Doug- Don't work too hard. Freddie and Delcie- Tell Freddie to keep the kayak right side up, water is too cold there to do the Alaskan roll!! Hi to everyone else in our super RV family. Jerry and Janice
  10. Eric, Try this link for repair to your refrigerator. www.rvrefrigeratorrepair.com in Falkville,Ala. About 10 tears ago my Ref went out and I had them to fix it. Still working good about 3 years later when I sold the RV. In north Ala straight up from Birmingham, Ala.
  11. Lyn-Maybe you can get a gold crown when you get the crown replaced. That way you can always find gold. Of course Ed would follow you every where. Oh that's right he does any way. Find a big nugget!!
  12. Joe, I really hate to see you wear yourself out traveling so far, relax more and enjoy life.
  13. You never commented on my route I told you to try. Onion Creek has 27 creek crossings so you stopped a little short. The road had washed out after about 15 crossing when we rode ATV's up the creek about a month ago. But having fun is the most important thing!!
  14. While in Moab, you need to drive up the Potash Road, almost straight across from the entrance to Arches NP. Need 4wd or high clearance. Road is very scenic and takes you out in Canyon Lands NP near Dead Horse Point. Kinda interesting near the top. Find Dave and Nancy and let them go with you. You also need to go eat breakfast at Red Cliffs Lodge, about 10 miles north of MOAB. Breakfast buffet for about $10.00 and it is very good. Supper is great also. They also have a John Wayne and movie musem at the lodge, free. A lot of movie have been filmed in the area and they have a lot of info on the movies.
  15. This is our plan also. Definitely want to see our friends that we haven't seen in a while and meet some new members. It is a shame Joe will not be here because Jeri will. Miss everybody! J&J
  16. Lee-nice to hear you are about to get on the road again. We plan on being in Crossville late Thursday night and all weekend. If you are in the area, love to meet with you.
  17. Dang it Lee, hope you were not hurt or the other people. My brother has a Ford dually and I can borrow and come get you if you need me to. Just let me know if you need anything. J&J
  18. We are still in Dalton,Ga at the ELKs if you want to stop and visit or spend the night. J&J
  19. Coldsmoke - Sorry to hear about your brother, hope he is better soon. Maybe we can get together after your emergency is over. Sue- if you get to Dalton, Ga give us a hollar.
