Well we can not let Janice and Jeri go and have any margaritas. Every time they go to Mexico and have a Margarita they buy another purse!!!!!!!! Not sure what Jeri does with hers but Janice gives to our daughter after she sobers up.

We will probably be out west next winter also. But I can't say that our stay in Florida has been bad except for traffic. Today we are in Key Largo area at the Elks with a beautiful view of the gulf out our front window. Temp in 70's with 10-16 MPH winds. Tomorrow we are moving to John Pennekamp state park for 5 days. Stay safe everyone. Lee- I think your truck would look good painted pink. Can you get it painted at the Pink Store near you?

Lee- you are such a nice man. For the nice comment, I will fix you a home cooked mountain meal next time I see you.

Janice is using reading glasses for distance vision and can see OK but not what she wanted. When her eyes have adjusted, she will get prescription glasses. She using two different strength reading glasses to read up close. BOTH at the same time!! Looks funny but I am not brave enough to post a picture. We had some storms hit close by but missed us. Two tornados touched down within 50 miles of us.

Before you have the surgery, get a copy of the procedure done by the Lasik doctor and provide to the surgeon. Sometimes they can use this info to change the correction lenses to enable you to see better. Janice's dr did not request the info and we didn't know it would help.

Janice has surgery done on both eyes for cataracts now. Her vision is not as good as she had hoped. Doctors say that people like Janice that had Lasik before do not get as good results as ones without Lasik. Hope it improves. Final Dr checkup is this thursday. She is not a happy camper right now.

As we all know Lee is the only one that makes sense when he posts. Ex. Steve has some good comments when he is taking a Steeeeeeve but rambles otherwise. Sandie also posts insightful items.. Jeri posts a lot but..... Janice and I don't post much buy we are know as the quiet ones for a reason. Lee- even if you don't post as often, I will still read everyone you do post. I am waiting on one of the cowgirls to slip up on you before you can run away. Jerry and Janice

I will have to say the Margaritas and quesadillas were great the first event. A great time was had by all but may not remembered by all. I think Mike's hat got kinda twisted around but he didn't care. Janice and I will not make it this year but everyone have fun and stay safe. Hanging around sunny Florida this year.

Should have stayed in Florida with us. Sunny with highs in the low 80's and low in low 70's. Gentle breezes, almost paradise. If I could only talk Jeri into making more tropical drinks for me. haha. May rain a little twice a week but mostly at night. Life is great. Lee- hope you get to warmer weather soon.

Lee, we sent all the bad weather in Florida west with Paul and Marsha and Roger and Len. So far our weather in central Florida has been great most of the time. Got over 90 today, so just head on over here and warm up. Joe- I noticed Janice and Jeri out in the yard jumping and dancing around the other night and I thought they had too much wine. Now that you mentioned it, I bet it was a rain dance for you. Your name was spoken a lot during the dance. If I was you I would check my supply of baaaaad whiskey real close with Steve in the area. Anybody that can make that ice cream machine disappear can make off with a lot of baaaaad whiskey fast. Julie- Unless you have partaken of a lot of that baaaad whiskey, I would not let our classmate surgeons any where close to your knees. I don't think they make enough baaaad whiskey to let them get within two states of the operation site. Good luck on the surgery and when you get better, let's go hike the slot canyons in Utah again.

Borrego Springs is a great area. The visitor center is very nice and interesting. I believe they said the mountain sheep some times come to the center at night for water. The sculptures are great and scattered over a large area, Also some orange, lemon and grapefruit groves that have been abandoned around to pick some fruit. There is a real nice RV park with a golf course in town, kinda pricey thou but nice. There is a lot of BLM land to boon dock as you come in from the Salton sea side.

It was great visiting with Paul and Marsha again. Been a long time but we made up for lost time by talking about everyone not here. As usual IYQ and his cowgirls was a major part of the conversation. Being close to Mexico Beach lead to discussions about Joe. For some reason, Jeri and Terry would not stop at Mexico Beach as we drove by in the rain today. Not sure why. haha Linda's explanation of how the map was originated and to be used was excellent.

Not working the gate this winter will allow you to help Delcie train Echo. Looking forward to seeing the new addition. Jerry and Janice

Setting at the Warrington (Pensacola) Fl ELKS. Nice sunny day with a little breeze. Enjoyed a pre football game meal with Jeri, Terry and their grand daughter Sandy and Roger and Lynn. During the meal we watched the Denver/ Cleveland game and then the Packer fans left to catch their game and the rest of us watched the Seahawks game. Not the results everyone wanted but great company. No rain.

Does this mean Mike has to put his beer in the refrigerator again? Stay away from the white stuff!!

Sorry about your refrigerator. Mine went out last year and I replaced with a residential unit. Works great using little energy so you can still boon dock, just have to run the generator a little more. If you want to have the unit fixed, there is a place in Falksville. Ala rvrefrigeratorrepair.com 4279 Highway 31 Sw, Falkville, AL 35622 · (256) 784-5097, that will fix it for a lot less than a new one. I had them to fix one on my other coach and it worked great after the fix. I believe they are about a hundred miles south west of Chattanooga, TN.. Some have had the unit replaced with an Amish made unit that works great also.

You tell Ed to quit arguing with the bird and pay attention to where he is driving. We both know the bird is smarter than Ed.

We will be in Florida this winter.

We have had a great visit with Jeri and Terry. Terry has been helping me work on our little cabin/storage building and I may have over worked him as he left in a hurry today. Actually I needed a break as he can out work me. Everybody watch for the streak as Jeri flies by. I know she is on a plane as my broom is still here. She may get mad at me again, oh well she has to return as I have her MH and truck here. Great visit with our RV friends, Jeri and Terry, and we plan on spending this winter with them in Florida. I have guards posted at all entrances to our place, no way you can sneak in!!! About time you got here, only been heading this way for months.

Just think Lee, when you get your new eyes, you may not need the telescope to see the stars anymore. The telescope might be useful to find the ice cream machine.
