  1. Thanks!! Try this: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/otllbzu7z6gcaf37k7zt1/h?rlkey=jpzca1wxbyy8jupeyylfj7sdm&dl=0 New link added above.
  2. All you need to hit the road is a brake controller, and I'll throw in the Tekonsha Prodigy unit of your choice! Text 404-310-7523 to discuss. https://www.dropbox.com/home/Volvo 619?preview=IMG_0383.jpg It's a 2001 Volvo 610, with 716,000 miles. I bought it in 2004, and it had 615,000 miles on it. It has a 12.7 L Detroit 60-series engine, rated at 430/470 HP, and an Eaton auto-shift ten-speed. It’s an early auto shift, with the clutch. It has a 3:58 rear axle. The truck is located in north Georgia. It was a basic truck, tandem-bunks, when I bought it and it still has the original seats. Twin 125 tanks. I flipped back through the receipts and realized that I replaced a lot of parts over the years: - Front drums have right at 100,000 miles. - The clutch has 96,000 miles on it. It was adjusted 47,000 miles ago. - Installed a used Jake brake at 622k as well. - AC fan motor has 75,000 miles on it. - Had it shortened at 643,000 miles, with drive-line modifications - Muffler and exhaust pipe have 52,000 miles on them. - New turbo and air charger 15,000 miles ago. - New water pump 13,000 miles ago. - New tie rods and alternator at 711,000 miles. Only 5,000 miles on them! - New radiator at 3,000 miles ago. - New air bags, tires and batteries this summer. I’m pretty sure that Kenny Doonan redid the entire front end in ’07, when I bought the Teton, but I don’t find the receipt so can’t really be sure exactly what was done. rlsmith017@gmail.com More pictures here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/otllbzu7z6gcaf37k7zt1/h?rlkey=jpzca1wxbyy8jupeyylfj7sdm&dl=0

  4. Looking for a little advice from the HDT group. I full-timed for ten years with my Volvo 610, but parked it a few years ago and now it’s time to sell. Looks like all the old content has been removed from the ‘For Sale’ section , so there is only one old Volvo listed, a 2001 project truck for $20,000. My truck is a 2001 Volvo 610, with 716,000 miles. It was a basic truck, tandem-bunks, when I bought it and it still has the original seats. I flipped back through the receipts and realized that I replaced a lot of parts over the years: - Front drums replaced when I had it singled at purchase, so they have right at 100,000 miles. - Replaced the clutch and Jake brake at 622,000 miles. The Jake brake was used; new clutch. - Replaced the AC fan motor at 641,000 miles - Had it shortened at 643,000 miles, with drive-line modifications - New muffler and exhaust pipe at 665,000 miles. - Clutch adjustment at 669,000 miles - New turbo and air charger at 701,000 miles. - New water pump at 703,000 miles. - New tie rods and alternator at 711,000 miles. - New radiator at 713,000 miles. - New air bags, tires and batteries this summer. I’m pretty sure that Kenny Doonan redid the entire front end in ’07, when I bought the Teton, but I don’t find the receipt so can’t really be sure exactly what was done. Downsides? - As to be expected, it has blow-by. My Teton was 24,000 pounds and it handled it well. - Body is in fair condition. - Interior is also in fair condition. - My Teton had air over hydraulic brakes, so it doesn’t have a brake controller. - Needs a new mattress. - The hitch is a Reese 30-K model, which tilts, and has 100,000 miles on it. I never got an air hitch; ran with an air pin-box instead. Any ideas on a fair price? 5. I forgot the final kick in the pants: I was charged an hour’s labor for the video. Allowing additional a few additional seconds for pulling out the cell phone and recording, it works out to $19,000 per hour.
  6. I'm having an extended argument with an RV dealer about a warranty repair for my black tank. I dumped the day before I took the unit in, yet the dealer insists that it was completely full. They are charging me $160, their one-hour rate, for dumping the tank. I was adamant that the tank had been dumped and asked that the tech take a cell phone video of the dump process. The link to the video is below. What I need is simple: In your opinion does the video show a full, 49-gallon black tank being dumped? https://youtu.be/4fT9gqPtsKg Thanks!!
