My pickup truck has the pin shaft at the truck at about 21" from ground to center of the 2 1/2"x2 1/2" opening With the air in the airbags on the HDT should I aim for this same distance of 21"? redcrzr Posted June 17, 2017 Report Share Posted June 17, 2017 Mine is at 18" and it appears as though the air bags are full. I'm thinking 18-21" isn't going to make a big difference and you could adjust the various heights with the ball insert.
