We are planning a road trip with a 17’ trailer beginning Sep 29 up to Grass Valley, Ca to see friends then from there to June Lake (already have reservations in June Lake starting on Oct 12). Perusing Tom Stienstra’s book California Camping for locations to stay, and campsites with lakes to kayak on. The book lists some good sites but personal recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
