BeckyIO Posted April 13, 2023 Report Share Posted April 13, 2023 (edited) 2018 Hiker trailer (squaredrop trailer) that can be towed by a wide variety of vehicles, fits into about any campground, has a solar setup for off-grid camping, and is small and easy to store. Located in Spanaway, Washington. $7,250 OBO. I lived in this camper from 2018-2020 and spent much of that time boondocking on public land in the western US. Its small size and high clearance are great for camping down dirt roads, but it's pretty specialized and not for everyone. The solar was enough to keep my laptop charged so I could work, but it isn't enough to run a hairdryer, or probably a portable fridge either without additional batteries and panels. The cabin interior is about 6' long, so about 5'10” max height for being able to sleep stretched out, maximum two people. Essentially a bed in a box with a rear kitchen galley – trailer is not tall enough to stand up in. Everything works and it has no leaks, the wood interior is in excellent shape. It's ready to go camping tonight. Clean South Dakota title. I've taken good care of it, but it is not in like-new condition. Battery and tires are original, propane tank will probably need filling soon and it's due for a wheel bearing change now and probably a caulk touch-up this year or next. There is some optional gear you're welcome to take with it or not. Tupperware boxes for organizing the galley, leveling blocks for for the wheels and wheel chocks, a single tri-fold mattress and mattress pad (the mattress is pretty worn out, you'll likely want your own), an old portable folding solar suitcase that may or may not work with the trailer (long story), and a few other odds and ends. I love this little camper and have made so many great memories in it. But my financial situation has changed and I need to sell so I can buy myself a new vehicle. I'm hoping to find “Tribble” as I've called him a new owner (or owners) who'll love him like I did. Payment is due in full up front, sorry no payment plans.
