  1. Well, we are back in Virginia Beach for about a month or more to visit family after spending 2 months to explore Nova Scotia and back. We did the touristy stuff and had a pretty good time but because we have traveled so extensively in the US and seen the best, there is much prettier scenery in the lower 48. So one more adventure marked off our bucket list. Carol
  2. Sue, saw where you were heading to AZ this winter. We are, too. Sooo....since we were not able to catch up in NS, maybe we can meet somewhere in AZ. I think we want to try Tucson this year. We were in Mesa 2 seasons ago and loved it. If we get tired of Tucson, we might just return to Mesa. Glad you had some good times in Newfoundland! We did the whale watching out of Digby and was the highlight of our time in NS! Glad to be back in the US and lower prices and super Wal-marts!! Carol
  3. Roger, met some of your group last night. Great people! We were here at PP RV Park in June and yes, it is one of the nicest, cleanest parks we have stayed in. Should have come to see you this morning-had my pancake at the restaurant! Carol
  4. Aug 17 to 20th., Oh Boy!! We are back in the USA at the Pumpkin Patch RV Park in Hermon, ME. Funny, we ran into a couple leading a caravan going to Nova Scotia when we were here in July also checking back in today! That was 56 days ago! Were we really in Canada that long!? Wow! Carol
  5. In Englishtown, Nova Scotia until Aug. 1 at the start of the Cabot Trail. Sue, we FINALLY have a bright sunny day to do the Cabot Trail! Got the picnic basket packed, camera charged, & map marked. Send me a note when you get back to NS. We will be hanging out in the Truro area for 4 days and then Halifax area for a week and then on to Digby. Carol
  6. July 22 to August ? in Nova Scotia. Hope we can get in everything we want to see! Are leaving Prince Edward Island. It was okay but much prettier scenery in the lower 48! Carol
  7. July 17 to July 21 at Brudenell on Prince Edward Island to explore the eastern part. Have finished the north and central part. Then on to Nova Scotia. Carol
  8. Pa and Eric and Sandie, sorry it is hot out there but we love that part of the country! Don't feel too bad, we have had some 80+ to almost 90 degree days up here in New Brunswick and will be 7up to 80+ in a few days while here on Prince Edward Island. It is also muggy and rainy today and maybe tomorrow. Yesterday was beautiful, but then it must have known we were coming!!! So we will just run in between the rain drops to see things and save our coastal driving days for when the sun is out. Having a good time but sitting here in McDs for Wi-Fi. The provincial parks don't have it yet. Hope to be back out where all you guys are by winter and spring!! Sandie, out in more rodeo country!!! Pa,if near Cheyenne in late July be sure and go to Frontier Days, a great rodeo and televised bull riding! Carol
  9. Pa and D, we are headed back to Va. Beach for some follow up medical stuff and then hope to head west by late October. I vote for Mesa, AZ, for the winter. Then we hope to explore the northwest again in the spring and summer. So keep the light on for us.... Carol

Are staying put for Canada Day because they say it is a big celebration and campgrounds get booked way in advance other than the large park we are in. Carol
  13. Thank you Linda! It is a nice place to be spending my birthday! Carol
  14. June 24 to 25. At the Kiwanis campground across the border in Canada in St. Andrews. Overcast and watched the fog roll in then back out. We are right on the water. Can walk 5 minutes to town. Should be fun because I am spending my birthday today in Canada! Carol
  15. June 19 -20 in Bangor, ME. Want to see if we can get into Acadia NP on our way to Nova Scotia. But summer may be too busy. Will drive out there tomorrow and see what CGs we can find. Things are expensive up here!!!! Carol
  16. June 12 to June 18 at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, Massachusetts. Sure hope the severe storm headed our way tomorrow is only heavy rain! At least the weather is cooler here than down south! Carol
  17. June 9 - 10 At Silver Valley Campground in Saylorsburg, PA, north of Allentown near the Pocono Mtns. Want to explore tomorrow but weather is calling for more rain for the next 2 days. Yuck!!! Carol
  18. June 6-8 in Washington, DC. Andrews AFB. Just to do the museum thing. Carol
  19. We got here to Va. Beach the first week of April and only had a couple of warm days. It has been cold for the last week and still cold until next week! Wind and rain have not been fun! We are camped at the military CG by the ocean (100 yds away across some sand dunes) and it is10 degrees cooler where we are than inland! It is also very funny that after spending the winter in FL, the stores here are just now putting out their summer clothes and stuff. Seems like we went thru some kind of time warp!! So we are still here until June 6. Had to extend for some dental work. UCK!!! Carol
  20. Gosh, guys, I like both ideas a lot! But sort of like the separate identity based on what level we are in our fulltime lifestyle with our friends of the same year we started fulltiming without looking thur all the other posts to find my classmates. So for now I will post here and read the posts under the Class-Less-Class to see where other friends are. April 7 to June 7, in Va. Beach, VA, at Sea Mist military campground.
  21. Jan 2 to April 2 at Ancient Oaks RV Park in Okeechobee, FL. Just left Key West. Nice but busy! And the main street is torn up and will be for 2 years! We have been there 5 times so I think we are over going down there. Hasn't changed much and is starting to look more run down each time we go. We did go out on a great sunset cruise on a schooner for the secind time. Plus being with some special friends was nice. But had a few hot steamy humid days which is not fun when boondocking. So we like the park we are in and I WILL have my AC back!! Plus full hookups! Yea, my own shower!! Carol
  22. 12/18 to 1/2/2013 at Sigsby military campground inKey West, FL. Will spend Xmas with some great fellow RVers friends and watch a Xmas sunset. Hope you all have a great Xmas no matter where you are. Carol

The food is always good and there are such nice freindly people here. Of course we had to hit the big Monday flea market. I get in trouble everey time I go!! Carol
