  1. the crazy part is I only have $106 in all 4 of them, just hope they hold up.
  2. Sure wish I had your solar setup! But I gotta stop somewhere 🙂
  3. Getting the tail lights recessed and installed. Also welded in the steps, installing clear penny lights in the top of each step to aluminate steps at night when the rear work lights are on. Also installing fuel filler necks make fill ups easier.
  4. Thanks Nigel I will keep that in mind!
  5. yes, planning on steps and a removable post to hang onto when climbing up and down. Thanks
  6. Rear pass through boxes tacked in place and rear panels tacked on.
  7. Planning on bed liner for the bed and automotive paint for the skirts and boxes
  8. More elements coming together.
  9. Definitely, gonna have them on both sides, will cut the door into the side skirt after the box is mocked up and tacked in place.
  10. All the above, not to mention no need to powder coat everything including the inside if the boxes, they can just stay uncoated. No more expensive in my area than steel either and much lighter to work with.
  11. You got it, the main bed frame rails are setting on 3/8 rubber that is glued down to the truck frame rails to eliminate electrolysis.
  12. First storage box tacked in place, putting a pass through basement behind the wheels.... and the generator finally arrived. 😁
  13. bed liner on the top, and probably an automotive base coat clear coat on the sides to match the truck. i will leave the inside of the boxes plain aluminum.
  14. Some more updates photos as we progress through the build
