  1. Hi all. I don't know if this is the best place for this. I live and travel to cold areas. I have a 2004 weekend warrior toy-hauler and I want to set up something like french door's. I like being able to have that hole wall see thru. But I also want good insulation. Would a thick piece of Plexiglas and/or multi pane glass be just as good as my walls/insulation ? How posabile would it be to have a tune of sky lights and/or Plexiglas ceilings LOL Also how would a person know how big or how many of windows I can have. So all in all I don't know if pane glass and/or Plexiglas can insulate just as good as my walls/insulation is/can be. Any thoughts ?
  2. well ty all for responding The link to the instruction sead it needs primer and I did not calculate that. I just did the math and using Elastomeric Roof Coating actually will cost me more than any of the stuff fore EPDM.
  3. Hi I'm going cheep. Can dicor lap sealant and rust-oleum 301904 7yr elastomeric roof coating work to gather ? Does it mater what order I apply them. EA: elastomeric over present roof than lap seal. And for areas that need lap sealant do I need to remove old stuff if it dos'nt have dry cracks just piled up a little ?
  4. Does it mater what order I use Dicor lap sealant and Dicor EPDM coating ? I see it say lap sealant takes 30 days but no info on EPDM coating.
  5. ty all If I put a carport tent over it will it prevent further mold/rotte to hold off repairs for spring/summer ? I don't have money saved up for buying a role of the EPDM roof or the liquid roof material for a few months. I did get another person saying I might be abule to cut a flap out off the EPDM over the rotte and repair the wood and put patch's on seam's of the flap.
  6. Hi all i'm new hear My EPDM or the other rubber roof looks ok. But I have a spot wear it looks like a branch poked a hole and than was calked(lap sealant). I just noticed that the ply wood there is badly rotted about 1 foot across. It feels like some of the wood framing might also be rotted. Should I just peel the roof back(can it be reused ?) and replace the wood or just do the EPDM rubber roofing coating system ? I live in it and have lots of rain coming withing 3-5 weeks. I can get a carport tent with clear tarps to work on it. I need to do some lap sealant and the EPDM rubber roofing coating. What one should I do first ?
