I'm sorry you are having issues, but have a question which has nothing to do with a resolution.
As a Starlink user myself, I am curious why you bypass your Starlink router. Is there some advantage I am not seeing?
I basically don't need the Wifi radio noise coming from the Starlink router. Everything is all controlled by one router as well.

I had spent the whole morning with no success. It was all offline. WifiRanger support called me back. I connected up the Spruce and everything is back working like it was before.
I didn't really do anything.
I don't have safe surf enabled and use several static, my own selected DNS instead of auto.
Weird.

Today, it powers up and will sort of connect but then goes to OFFILINE, stalled no data. It won't actually establish a data connection via cable or Wifi. All of these internet sources it's connected to are working just fine. I've not made any parameter changes to any of this equipment.
It has been working fine for the past couple of years. Currently have been using it with Starlink in Bypass Mode via Ethernet cable, T Mobile M2000 via USB, and Netgear Nighthawk MR1100 over Wifi. Sometimes I've used Multi-WAN but generally just manually switch the Spruce from one of those 3 internet sources as needed. On occasion I may jump on park Wifi no issue.
Updated firmware a couple of weeks ago to latest: b14, 7.1.0b14
I've done several power cycles and factory default resets from the WifiRanger web interface. No change. Still no connection.
For now I'm just going directly to the Starlink router, M2000 or Nighthawk and have removed the Spruce.
Anyone heard of similar issues or a fix? It feels like my Spruce is toast. What do you think? My GoAC sort of went bonkers later on as well.
Probably need to start researching a PepWave something?

Run the AC units on high fan all the time.
Many years ago Dometic told me to do that. I am still a dealer for them. Although I only use my dealer parts for technical advice.
We had upgraded to Micro Air Easy Touch thermostats. They are awesome by the way. In hotter climates we run both on manual high. However, the auto setting actually works likes it's supposed to.

I am curious if your return air vents filters are clean.
If you have the circular vents, one side is cool air. The other side is the return air. They have a filter in them. Take a flashlight and shine up into the vents and see is they are clean or dirty.
If they need cleaning, just pull down on the center, while rotating just a tad.
Also if you have a thermal thermometer, you can see if your return cold air is 18 degrees or more colder than the return air.
Also has the rooftop AC units been cleaned on the fins in the last year.
Just some things to think about. Before getting your portable AC unit.
Those are good questions. This Montana has a ducted type AC system with 2 square intakes for the front and 2 square intakes for the back. The ducting also brings them both together for outlets. Here is what we have done.
- ducts can be prone to collapse, recognized fix/hack performed using PVC
- thermal HVAC tape checked and applied where needed around outside of vents. Basically making sure it's done correctly
- Intake filters of proper material type and cleaned regularly
- Internal fins cleaned several times the past 2 years using that spray can stuff made for such jobs. They were relatively clean. Also inspected complete systems on roof for any areas that don't seal well. Any outside debris cleaned as well.
- Every other louvre cut from outlets as another recommended hack for this AC. There's also a round part of the outlets that sticks up too high into the ducts. Cut those down using a dremel t be closer to the bottom of the ducts.
- Gas heat intakes covered covered with that silver thermal bubble wrap insulation
- Considering switching to heat outlets in the floor which allow you to close them (that wheel you can turn to open and close)
- Infrared thermometer for checking wheel hubs is also handy for AC. Average a 20 to 22 degree difference between inlet and outlet. Bedroom cooling works well so we put a fan blowing down the hall to living
- Have bunkhouse office with no cooling outlets
From a complete system viewpoint it seems like we need a bit extra AC added to the design.

Thanks but not enough space to install with major modifications.

We prefer not to be crowded in like sardines. Boondocking doesn’t really work for us as I’m still working a few more years.
We are ok with being sardined a week or two as long as the area is interesting.

It seems like universal hardware rather than a plan?

I’ll research a bit but if it’s not one of the 3 major carriers then it’s some 3rd party reseller. They work until they don’t, leaving you without a connection.
-
We have a 40.5 foot Montana with a 13K in bedroom and 15k in living room. We also have bunkhouse layout which I converted to office. Don’t have the budget to add 3rd rooftop AC. Have taken steps to insulate better. Window unit not compatible.
Any experience with a decent portable AC unit where you vent hose through a window? FYI we would insulate the hosel.

Started getting some grey tank smell in the kitchen close to the sink. Had never changed one but knew about the vent. We are in CO now. Ordered 3 on amazon since it was only a few dollars more. Not a problem to remove but on inspection ah ha! I usually do make a p trap in the slinky.

Is there enough room within the enclosure of the fridge in order to locate the second compressor?
Yes it’s made for the 2118.

I regret having our Norcold 2118. We will either convert to DC sometime or replace with residential.

There are a lot of cameras these days associated with a police unit, inside the car, outside the car and on the policeman’s body. It protects both police and civilians. Can also be used as evidence by either party.

I’ve had T-Mobile 100Gb 5G service using their Inseego M2000 hotspot about 2.5 years. It works great as part of my triad of traveling internet sources with the main being Starlink Mobility, and the other an ATT 100Gb 4G using a Nighthawk.
I work remotely connected so reliable internet is important.

Don’t mind walking through unoccupied sites. Always wave and say howdy to any fellow RVers.
-
Completely agree with Lou.
Third party vendors are a waste if you need reliability. I went through 2 unexpected stoppages with 3rd parties. Now have 100GB TMobile & ATT hotspots plus Starlink Roaming.

Health insurance retiring at 63?

Already full time nearly 3 years. We are currently going on 59. Still working so that’s how we get health insurance.
Wonder what to budget for 2 people 2 years until Medicare at 65? Where are people getting health insurance these days not working? Obamacare marketplace?
