  1. Have Good Sams And will renew when it expires. Have used it several times. Once in Roanoke Va. to tow the truck and the 5er to Western Branch Diesel to work on the Super 10. The tow cost $400 and was reimbursed from Good Sams. I thought there was going to be a problem BUT NO ISSUES. The tow was only 10-12 miles. But the tow truck was a new 3 rear axle TOP Shelf fresh from the KY Truck Show Tow Truck. We took pictures it was so good looking. The driver impressed with his knowledge and abilities. On the "Hook" but with style.    Pat

  2. Mr Cob    I looked at your pictures and not being a bike enthusiast I really enjoyed the wide range of bikes and the beautiful country you have seen. You also have a beautiful Pete. But the picture I really enjoyed was the Nova coming off the line with the front wheels "in the air". I was in a car club in High School and we built a B/dragster. it ran 128 in 10.3. Small block chev. Then joined the Navy in 65 and off we went. If you ever get a chance call me 757-646-1686. Was that your collection of fire power? That was sweet. I'll close but glad you enjoyed the video. Did Chris C introduce the song? Take care, Stay safe.   Pat

  3. Mr COB         Glad you are feeling much better. A ride in a big truck will always help you feel better. Seeing your pictures of Nam I get mixed feelings this time of year. I had just come back from boot camp at Great Lakes and was at home. On the 8th of Nov "The Angles Were Crying" over there. A song and video by Big and Rich called "The 8th of November" will explain. I ended up doing 30 years in the Navy but never made that West Pac run. Gulf yes. So as others have done I want to thank you for your service to our country. It wasn't easy being in the service then. If you ever get to the Norfolk Va Beach area just give me a call and I'll take you and family on a tour of the base. Might get on a ship.    Pat

  4. Blaine   Really nic looking truck and a great shop. The horizontal drill motor with the long reach is used to drill holes thru the frame to the other side? Or what. Just wondering what its used for. Keep up the good work. And keep the pictures coming.   Pat

  6. Randy   I like it. How true. Hope everything is going well. We have been doing great but 2 wks ago both Shirley and I popped positive for The Virus. Never really were sick just minor cough and low level 99.4 to 100.2 temp for a couple of days. Now we are waiting to retest next week. Plan on retest day 21 of first test (1 Oct). Everything else seems to be doing fine. Are you going south this winter? If so be safe and we'll see you'll down the road.   Pat

  7. Jay   When I was looking for a truck (2010-11) I saw one exactly like yours in Alabama. I just wondered where it came from. Nice paint really changes the look. In your case it made it shine!   Pat

  8. Big    That can be repaired with plenty of glass mat over some 16 gage steel or alum. Use West system Epoxy. I've fixed a couple on working trucks and they do take a beating but they are still ticking. The secret  is a lot of glass and wrap it tight and use plenty of metal to give it strength.

  10. Chet   glad that job is behind you. They try to make it as hard as they can. The engineers should have to fix everything they design at least once. Might make designing a little easier. I really like your pump. I worked on a friends boat that hadn't been started in over 5 years. I had to get rid of 155 gals of diesel. It took 2 days to hear the engine run. 91 Cummins 300 horse.. The boat is a 33' 1988 Wellcraft. Hope everything is doing OK with you'll. Take care and be safe.   Pat

  12. Great shops! I sure would love to have that surface grinder and that long bed lathe. My Bridgeport and Rockwell lathe will just have to do. i hope i can post some pictures of my small shop if I can figure out how. When I retired from the Navy I thought I would teach at a HS or Comm  collage a machine shop program but they don't exist any more. My HS Machine Shop teacher would be heart broken. I still miss Mr. Roades. Jefferson High School Roanoke Va. Class Of 1965.   Pat

  13. Pappy, Randy    Thanks for the info but it seems that this 19 V has everybody at a standstill. but i keep looking and maybe I'll find something the Comptroller will let me bring home! My shop would love to have a new (old) toy to play with. On a different note i ordered a set of disk brakes that are suppose to be here this coming week. I still need to order the second axle set. Just trying to get all the parts and hope to have them installed by mid summer. Maybe by then we'll be able to get out some where. Randy do you have a CG up around you that you go to occasionally? I haven't been on the Forum in a week so Hope everybody is safe and feeling well!   Pat

  14. Randy   What a great project! Just keep working on it and before you know it you'll be done. In a hurry! Now if anybody out there has a A Model Ford Coupe (29-31) body that is my #1 bucket list project. Body condition is not real important. Can anybody put this 73 year young Old Sailor on his project? Anyway Randy your 30 year o;d project looks like it came off of the showroom floor. Great job and keep it up. Will see you soon. Can I go for a ride?    Pat
