It's time for a correction and for those with reserve powder, wait until you can see the whites of their eyes!

The only time that they have problems with the DEF system on the Ford diesel is when the owners keep topping off the DEF tank instead of waiting for the DEF warning light ("800 miles remaining on DEF").

Could it be something like that? Are you filling the DEF tank before it indicates that it needs to be replenished?

Single stock shots are gambles - with a little information they can be better than Las Vegas game odds - and its fun when they hit big.

Stock gambles that I've sold too early (took the profit and ran) are Apple, IBM, Xone, Vertex and a few others.

In those cases, Warren Buffet was right; buy and keep good companies.

As for "being in the market";

Its been proven over and over again that index funds will perform best over the long run for the investor.

But I'm timing the market too. I believe that the general market will hold up well until Obama's second year at which point extreme caution is my outlook.

Pre-election was a no-brainer for me. . .market goes up, I averaged out.

Now, with a lot of fear in the market place. . .

It looks like time to start averaging in.
