Just stoppin in to say Hi. We are gate guarding for a couple of months than heading to Virginia to see Ed's sister. Sorry we missed Quartsite this year. We are hoping to make it next year. We still have our bird that Jerry and Janice found. She is about as stubborn as Ed.

Jim and Sandie, I think we were parked right down from you last night. If we had known, we would have come down and said Hi. We are at the fairgrounds for another week. Jeri, when are you guys going to be in South Dakota. When we leave Sioux Falls, we are heading to Rapid City for at least 2 weeks. Would be nice to meet up with you.

It was nice running into Diane and Glyn at The Ranch. We had never met them before so it was nice meeting them. That Sat. at the Ranch I thought we were going to blow away. Ed brought the slides in and we have never done that. Freddie & Delcie, I told them we ran off with your hot dogs and mustard the last night you were there so we told them we would share them. haha Sorry didn't mean too. We are back in San Antonio waiting for a gate. If we don't get one before Friday, we are meeting up with Jeri and Terry.

Has anyone used a repair shop in Yuma. Our refrigerator isn't staying cold. Just thought maybe someone has used someone around here. I am so tired of RV problems, hopefully this will be the last thing. We just took it in and had the overflow replaced because it had a crack and the turn signals had quit working when we left Quartzsite. Ed couldn't find the flasher so it only cost us $10 for the part and $107 for them to find it. I am trying to stay positive about all this.

I'm glad I moved my peg, don't want to disappear. haha We have spent 2 days digging dirt here on the American Girl Mine road and still no gold. Well, we only went through the first day so still have some buckets to go through. Just lost a crown tonight so guess we are making a trip into Mexico. I hate dental problems. Lyn

We made it to the American Girl Mine Rd and it has been very windy. Because of the wind we haven't been out in the ATV but drove the Jeep up to the mine. Haven't did any digging, thus we haven't found any gold. (That's for anyone wanting to know. ) Miss all you guys, and Ed says he hates to miss out on the biscuits and gravy. Guess I will have to make him some more.

We are on our way. Ya Hoo!! finally Ed's thinking we will make it tomorrow but I am thinking Saturday. Only 933 miles to go. See you all soon. Lyn

We are planning on coming but we have been having electrical problems and they say they are fixed but now our generator won't run. Taking it in on Monday, if they get it fixed and there are no more problems we will be heading that way. So we will know more on Monday. Hopefully we can still make it. Ed and Lyn

Also we will want to be going to the pizza place, I can't remember the name, but we loved the pizza there. Hope it is still there.

We are planning on being there, not sure what day. Also planning on going to Yuma, if the group goes that way. We also have another couple coming with us. Their names are Pam and Lacy. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone. We are gate guarding right now and have a few things to get fixed on the rv before we head that way.

Well, I sure wish you guys would make up your mind. I keep having to erase my board of travel plans. ( just joking) But I have been following, even though I don't comment, and we are planning on being there, even though no one seems to know where there is. Oh well, where ever it is we will be there. We are looking forward to meeting up with everyone.

Sorry to hear about the theft. Ed keeps wire cords looped thru everything on the trailer with a lock on them. Sometimes it's such a maze we have a hard time detangling them. Even has one on the Ranger. He isn't taking any chances. Where were you guys parked?

Teri and Jerry, we will be praying for you, sorry for your loss. Ed and Lyn We were in Elkhart for 2 months and than Virginia. We are now headed to Texas. We are going to check out the gate guarding thing. We may be doing that for the winter.

I felt that way when we got to the Thousand Trail's park today. The ranger that check us is didn't have any suggestion of where we could get over and disconnect the trailer. He just said don't block anyone. So we parked along a fence, plenty of room to get around us. We went looking for a place, the park is packed, so it took us a little while. While we are looking a ranger stopped us and told us we couldn't park where we were. Boy did he have an attitude. I think he needs to go back to ranger school for people skills. I think this has been the least helpful TT we have been at. But we are in hopefully it gets better.

Well, we had our last campfire at Quartzsite last night. We had about 4 pieces of wood left from the group. Ed said the one thing that was missing was all the laughter and Delcie hitting Freddy. We have officially left and are heading to California. I am looking forward to having hook-ups and getting rid of some of this dust. We had a great time with the group and hopefully we will meet some of you on the road somewhere else. Lyn and Ed

Paul, Silver Spur RV Park's address is 9310 E Main St, Mesa Arizona. Telephone # 480- 358-1618 It is part RV's and part mobile homes. We found everyone really nice. We were there a month. It is real close to Apache Junction.

We stayed at Silver Spur and we liked it. $230 for the month or $20 a night.
