Happy 4th to everybody also. Here, it is illegal to have fireworks in the entire Tahoe Basin area, which makes it a quiet and different 4th. Our park is full but w/ no fireworks, it is a quiet I have never experienced before. And I like it. I was bad as a kid w/ firecrackers and wish that on no one.

I everybody. Karla and I are safe and in S Lake Tahoe, CA. We are getting settled in and trained at the Tahoe Valley Resort where we are workampers for the summer. We are currently getting trained on the parks computer program. Karla will be mostly in the office and I will be both office and maintenance. I even have updated the 2008/09 map so you can come visit. Have a great spring and summer and travel safe.

Left Mesa, went to the Grand Canyon, Laughlin, Bakersfield and now parked at my brothers, in Monte Rio CA.(1 1/2 hrs north of San Fran, on the Russian River and 15 minutes from the coastal town of Jenner.). Will be here till we mosy over to S Lake Tahoe for our summer at http://www.rvonthego.com/Tahoe-valley-rv-resort.html The weather here is great, a little cool but sunny. Went to the coast Mon, drove up to Fort Ross St Park on PCH 1, but it was closed. Still enjoyed the drive. That is a section of road I wouldn't take the MH. Did a hike into Russian Gluch and Karla collected some pretty rocks. Took a walk in The Armstrong Woods Redwood Grove yesterday and it as always is amazing to see such large and old trees. Plan on kayaking along Pt Reyes Nat'l Seashore on Sat w/ my sister who also lives in the area. My kids are coming here for a visit in a couple of weeks, so, all is good w/ us thanks for asking eric and karla
