LFDR3116
Just read a news story about a recall for dry dog and cat food recall. The brands listed were Iams and Eukanuba -- possible salmonella contamination. Pat DeJong

skp51443
Pat, If you highlight it with the mouse in your browser's address section then click Edit, and Copy from the browser's menu it will go to the computer's clipboard. Then come to the forum and click inside the post editing box and and click Edit, then Paste it will show up here. The forum sometimes gets a bit confused so it is best to post the link on a line all alone, no leading or following letters or even spaces. If you do that then the forum will turn it into a live link. If you have more stuff on the line it may work or may not and I haven't been able to figure out why. LindaH
Even quicker, you could just right click in the browser's address section, click on "copy," come here as Stanley described, right click and click on "paste." Rosita
The date of this particular recall was mid-August, 2013; any products potentially affected would have production dates on the packaging before the above date. Affected products should also have been taken off store shelves very soon after the recall was announced. Even without a recall, I think it's unlikely that anyone is still using (at minimum) a four-month-old product, but, if one is concerned about Iams or Eukanuba food, check the production dates on the packaging. rujo
Just checked numbers on our 5 lb. bag of Iams..all numbers are on the recall list except the (use-by?) date which is 2015, so I'm figuring we're ok. (whew) Thanks for the heads up, Stan!
