  1. Honda 200 generator, hand to start and then had to play with the choke for a while before it would run on its own, Had gen. for 12 years with no problems.  So I found that there is a filter/ fuel pump/ fuel accumulator on the inside of the main cover on the pull rope side.  $35 for a new one at Honda. Replaces in about a hour and runs on the second pull,  choke off. Might give it a look. This filter/ pump is between the fuel tank and the carburetor.  NO they made this so you cant clean it and as far as I know, Honda.   Honda filter /pump has 3  hose ports and most other have 2  hose ports. Good luck  OU812

  2. As long as you have a, Good water, supply and a tank for waste water, then Ok.  If not, then you should be in some kind of  park to have the supply and waste water deposals sites.  Sanitizing  can be a big problem. Hot water and soap for the dozen or so item you need to wash, each time . really to us is not a big deal. We do a lot bar-b-Q outside / cooking to reduce the orders and film in the TC.  What works for ....go for it.. OU812

  3. Working out side...... I've never...never broken down in a shop. Been hauled into a shop, to be fixed because I didn't have the tools (computer) to work on outside.   On the farm, where I grew up, that was known as "The Big Shop", when working out side on equipment.  Last year I had the ECM go to the "lymp mode".   Made it to a Commings shop. I didn't know that I could hold my breath that long, (60 miles) .  I always have a small rug or peace of plastic to throw down to work on.   It helps to find things when they drop,   keeps the ground clean, and every one happy.   I try to keep up on prevented maintenance at hone,  more options to repair.   Helps keep the problems down to a  very seldom.   Good luck and happy traveling  OU812

  4.     I have a 98 Volvo  N 14 , 10 speed. 670,00 miles,   When attempting to start, with the key. ( I let the lights come on and don't crank until the seat belt light goes off) No dash lights  I get nothing, then back off, second try I get dash lights,  ( voltage is 12.8 volts) a click and ECM,  and dash lights go out.  Back off, third or forth try starter engages and engine start up as usual.   Battery's are 6 mouths old ( charging at !3.8 when running) and clean.  I have replaced the starter relay,  and the electrical connection at the  bottom of key switch.  The electrical system is all original,  only add on is a trailer brake controller.  No orders (smell of something hot), checked for loose connections, all over.   Truck runs fine, and intersegments are normal when running.   Has any one had a simmer experience  whit their truck?  No I'm not next to a repair shop...but I know that I could get to one,.. in a few 100 miles.  (Volvo).  I' thinking of a starter  going bad...??    Is there something I should be looking at ??     I think I have covered everything that I attempted and the systems.  Any in put is appreciated  Thank you   OU812

  6. This is a LONG shot....but..... could you make transmission adjustment / change to a over drive to get the higher gear and RPM down.  A lot of people look at a truck, and never think about what it was built for.  Over the road truck is set up different the a then say local delivery or logging truck.  I don't know your set up.....but you could spend a few  $$$$ to get the way you want.......or start over on another truck like a lot of us have done.  good luck  OU812
