  1. I may have figured out one issue. It was blowing my marker light fuse. 20 amp. It looks like they quit working and someone decided to try plugging the hot side into the ground. I did find a thingie under it called a ez macro hook. I am betting the alligator clip came off the ground side. The question in my mind is that the way it is supposed to be or did someone miss it in assembly? Either way I am going to put a permanent ground to the chassis. There is still tail lights and brake lights and blinkers to chase. I plan on starting that adventure with some new bulbs as the bases are corroded on the brakes and tail lights.
  2. I am blowing fuses. I am trying to chase down the culprit. It sure would be easier if I could find a schematic to trace than to unwrap all 14 miles of wiring. Any ideas where I can find a wiring schematic for a 1977 Dodge Concord? I believe it is an m813 chassis. TIA!
  3. Forgive me if I butcher the jargon. Thingie doesn't always cover everything. The Slider? Pop out? room extension? yeah, that thing. It sticks out maybe 1 1/2 inches at the bottom and not at the top. I have never used it and don't know what the deal is. Am I going to have issues when I try to open it? If I key it on and try to close it flush, is it going to cause issues? Is there a way to get them back in if or maybe when they get stuck that doesn't involve calling some one out? I can't run it all the way out until I fix the leaky leveler, which will be another post.
  4. These are exactly what I am after!! Do I have to take the entire door apart to get them out and replaced? Is there any tutorials or is it straight forward as it should be?
  5. Are there any instructions for trouble shooting a no crank situation? It looks like it is somehow connected to the unit batteries, but unsure if there is a relay or anything. It won't crank at the control panel on the gen set or in the vehicle. Once it warms up again I can chase the leads and make sure they are connected to something. It was 70 here on Sunday then we got 4 inches of snow overnight. Now it is too cold and windy for this old man to want to be under this monstrosity of a vehicle.
  6. I just got a 97 Bounder Class A behemoth. The storage bay doors have slam latches that are retracted and won't pop out. I have taken the back apart and have tried to operate the latches individually and they are stuck. I have hosed them out with some carb cleaner, its what I have on hand, and they are still stuck. Trying to take the two screws out, or even loosen them, where the latch is on the side of the door is fruitless. Any sweet hacks? I would love to include pics but they are all too big and I can't remember how to resize them rn.
  7. We are looking for a cool site to blog about our adventures. I am looking for a site that isn't going to sensor me for things like WTF and AF, as in old AF. I say rude things but not about people. I have a sarcastic and jaded sense of humor. We are easy going and hope to learn cool stuff and life hacks and maybe even have some good times around the camp fires with other members, but we have to know we are dealing with cool people on this site and not a bunch of sensitive over correct snowflakes. I promise not to be a terrible troll and to ignore you immediately over political or religious stuff. Let me know if this is that type of site and if I come back and be cool with y'all.
