Old time custom trailer builder would purchase steel round stock water trough from the ag supply then cut them in half and screw a sheet metal cover to the outside face so it could be removed if needed...

It was a very durable wheel well.

 

Drive on.....keep the wheels in the wells...

Those are pictures of my own trailer.

Where can I buy a wheel well that is fully enclosed? Both sides are covered, tires are inset from the edge of trailer.
