I wasn't sure what area to post this so here it goes. I am a 58 yr. old male returning to the US from an overseas military contract. I no longer own a home in the US as I have been doing multiple overseas assignments. I am a member of Escapees and will use the Texas office for address. My wife is Japanese and living in Japan. I plan to return there in about 3 months and retire. I do need to spend a few months in the US to take care of family legal affairs, finish up my employment and am thinking that maybe I will purchase a Class C to live in and sell it when I leave. I realize that I might take a hit only owning it for such a short time but it would be far cheaper than living out of a hotel and my dog will be with me. My other thought and reason for this post is this; does anyone rent an RV at an affordable rate? I plan to be in the Livingston/Houston area. I would really appreciate any advice on this.
