We continue to hike and bike Acadia National Park in Maine, first off we hike Beech Trail up to the fire tower lookout in the pouring rain. The next day we leave our campsite at Mt Desert Narrows Resort and head to Brown Mountain Gate house where we start Around Mountain Carriage Road trail. We had an amazing time in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

Spending more time in Acadia National Park is amazing, we also go to Bar Harbor where we walk around the town and get some breakfast at Epi's restaurant. Then we head south to the southern most tip of Mt Desert Island where we go to the Bass Head lighthouse, also stopping to hike to some tide pools. Really hope you enjoy! Living in our RV gives us great opportunities.

We arrive in Acadia National Park, we leave our Boondockers Welcome in Yarmouth Maine. Our camp spot for the week is Mt Desert Narrows Rv Park located near Bar Harbor in Thompson bay. It was quite the location amazing bay views, also a challenging spot to back into. Our spot was super wet from a recent rainstorm and very narrow. After we get settled we take the bikes out for a great ride around Eagle Lake, we have a great time, we see a turtle!

I have a lot of family in the area, in this Vlog we stay at another Boondockers welcome and take the bikes out in Portland Maine. + We discuss Toll prices,I make coffee (very exciting), we explore around our Boondockers welcome which is located in Yarmouth Maine. This season in New England is immensely wet year, for us its great, we are still trying to cool down from our time spend in the south.

  9. We arrive in Epping New Hampshire, after a great surprise and a disappointing Boston Bruins game 7 defeat. Shaving off my gross playoff beard is priority one, priority two is changing the differential fluid on our Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins. In this video I show you some steps and teach you what I know about the maintenance process.

Acadia park in Maine we have been to Maine several times but usaly go to Bar Harbor. The isle of Shouls was also nice. Kitery Trading Post, LL Bean

I am from Vermont. Shelburn Museum, Vermont Country Store, Stowe.

Let me know what you are looking for.

Boondocking is hard in the East you might find some in the Champion Lands.

Great info thank you! We are planning to spend a week around Burlington, Will that be long enough?

If you've never been to the top of Mt Washington in NH, that is kinda cool.  You can drive to the top, take a shuttle, or ride the cog railway.  Google it to find the details.

The Kancamagus (sp?) Hwy, also in NH, is a nice drive.

You will quickly learn to slow down in NH, VT, and ME.  With very few 4-lane roads going east/west, getting anywhere fast is pretty hard.

Thanks for the advice I remember my parents talking about the Kancamagus when I was younger ill have to take the drive!

  13. Enjoying our extended stay in Pensacola, Florida. Melissa's uncle takes us to see the Blue Angels at the National Naval Aviation Museum. Later that evening, he surprises us with a private helicopter tour from Ferguson Airport with Hang Ten Helicopters. Blue Angels are a must see and free!!! The helicopter tour was amazing if you can afford it!

Cobscook Bay SP, if you can get one of the water front campsites, #3,4,5,7 or 8 you can watch the 15 foot tide come in and go out from your window or chair outside.  Dry camping, but since you like to boondock that shouldn't be a problem.

Or stay at a RV Park in the area.

Go see the reversing water falls (rapids really):  http://downeastcoastalconservancy.org/dcc-trails/reversing-falls/

Hike the 2 mile or so trail along the ocean shoreline at Quoddy Lighthouse at Lubec, ME.

Boondocking is a problem, but dry camping at state parks is much nicer than staying at RV Parks.

    Great thank you so much!

  15. My wife works full-time with her company. She has to always be working on CA hours. In the beginning it seemed like a pain in the but because we were so excited to be on the road. I feel like its great now because we have some sort of routine. We have been on the road for 3 months, she uses a Verizon phone and hotspot. We have very little issues with cell coverage, but we check the coverage before we go to a new location with Open Signal ( its an app). Hope this helps!

  16. We are nearing the end of our time in New Orleans Louisiana. We go into New Orleans for the Garden District and the National World War Museum. When in the Garden District defiantly give yourself enough time to walk around the multiple streets. Also with the National World War Two Museum give yourself at least a whole day, we only had a few hours and it felt quite rushed. We did go on memorial day though. Hopefully this information helps next time you are in NoLa.

The best way to get an answer to that would be from her employer. It will depend on the plan and how it is set-up. The next source would be a rep of the company that underwrites her health care plan. If her employer is a national company it may not be a problem at all.

Thank you, she's going to talk to her work and see what they say.
