  1. I always chock trailer wheels first, then raise trailer with front jacks enough to unload hitch, then I bump tractor in reverse, this is very important to release forward tension on hitch, then set tractor brakes, then release hitch and drive ahead. Hope this helps.

  2. Don’t know about your truck, but I have a 2011 Volvo and my refrigerator is 120vac and runs off the dc/ac inverter, I have to turn on the inverter first then the refrigerator, inverter switch is above windshield on drivers side.

I am working on the rally schedule and am considering taking a day to go out to a nearby trail area to go run around with SxS's/UTV's/ATV's etc.  I know a few of the attendees have such vehicles and I think it would be a fun outing.  I will be looking around to see if anyone in the area has rental units for those that do not have their own and might want to come along.  Does this sound interesting to any of you???

For those that do not wish to participate the time could be used for projects or other free time activity.  It seems everyone always has something they want done to their truck or RV so I want to build in some project time as well.

    Chad,

I don’t have a machine, but would be interested in renting one and getting in on this, count me in.

  4. Does anyone use the Direclink brake controller with electric trailer brakes! It looks like most folks using this controller may have electric over hydraulic trailer brakes.

Scott, I have directlink with electric trailer brakes, installed by Gregg at RV Haulers and have put over 12k miles on so far, works great.
