AH Jeff - too funny that you did the Disney RV tour - we have friends from Tampa that bought a big class A - only place they have ever camp is at Fort Wilderness and they always go for the holidays - she has large bins for each holiday and of course a huge attic in her sticks and bricks to store them in !!! I am sure they were one of the RV's with the most lights!!!

Hi back to you Jeff and Tina, If ya gotta sit out a rainy, flooding time - this is a good spot , up on the ridge above a lake that needs the water and even better that Steve and Carol are our neighbors to hang with - Just wish we could have a campfire! pretty sad for those just south of us.and up in the canyons. My niece teaches in Loveland and they sent the kids home early due to flooding.

OH OH - need to switch to Margaritas!! LOL

Agree - we use mobile banking too. No need to go to the bank - our bank via Schwab does not limit the amount - they just hold for 3 days to make sure it gets processed.

Yipee! No more Deer Damage on our rig. KZ did a wonderful job - took all week but paint match was amazing and they added a rock guard coat to the lower front area - should help stop chips. Likely in Arizona at some point this winter - also would like to spend some time in Texas - I like the Parker area idea - best thing about Q over sidewinder is plenty of choices to park and not get stuck in the sand. Also - great point was made about picking up newbies!!! Other news - IYQ - you set a the bar very high on the new truck front!!! We are now the owners of a 2013 chevy 4/x4 dually - loving it - had it for two weeks now. Plus even more news - we finallyy left the Omaha area and headed to Hannibal Mo - managed to meet up with Jeff and Tina tonight - fun happy hour and hopefully a fun day tomorrow as well! DI - we are likely too far south to catch you on the trip back to Wyoming - but keep us posted if you take a more southern route.

Lee, Sorry to hear about your accident - grateful you are not hurt. We have loved our Chevy truck - which has the heated seats - would never be without it again!!! Plus the exhaust brake is worth the $$$. We are actally thinking about a new truck too - but not because of an accident - Mike is really wanting 4x4 and the Alison is now a 6 speed. Glyn - Stop using those 4 letter words - have a safe trip to Wy. !! We are headed to Omaha for a Granddaughter fix - then ????

Hi All, Glad to see y'all who have headed North made it safely - those who are still heading to summer areas - this is wishing you light tail winds. Mike and I had a great 10 visit with Dave and Nancy. Stayed in Cottonwood AZ - hiking, shopping, drinking - tell stories - talking about all of you!!! We have now started our move to Denver with a short stop here in New Mexico.

Di and Pa - you will like the Casino at Fire Lake - even has a soft serve Ice Cream Machine. - Free for 3 nights

Looks like we will be in the Denver area in May Too - look forward to seeing everyone while we are all in the area. Plan arrive in Denver by mid April and then fly to Florida for Mike to have eye surgery - back into Denver on April 30th and will stay in the area for first few weeks of May.

We have gone in summer and spring - best part about spring is fewer people. We like that they have closed off part of the road and you have to take shuttle buses to the over looks - you can hop off the bus and hike the rim to the next overlook (distance varies) It really gives you a chance to be alone ( well mostly) along the rim. Lastly - the North Rim is very different from the south rim - not as crowded - but is closed in Winter - usually mid May before it opens - also - not many places to stay so have to plan ahead to visit the north rim.

We seem to be stuck in Q - and that is all Good - Well - sort of : Mike ordered a computer and when it arrived it did not work - so now we are waiting on a replacement. Then I planned a trip to Florida using air miles - by the time I arranged the eye Dr appt for Mike === the price of tickets for flying went up $200 each plus all our miles- Good thing we plan in jello - now we will hang in Arizona til April then onto Denver- and will fly to Florida for Mike's eye surgery from there. Pa and Di showed up after the boot camp which of course leads to more campfires, food and stories!!! Plus we drove to Yuma and saw Freddie and Dulcie - fun time in Mexico and at the casino!!

Actually I think it was a combo of Cranberry juice, that Mexican mix the big "M" you love so much and of course Beer and other assorted liquids!!!! Many names where mentioned but some said they could not move to something called the "classy class " since they no class and so the name was born or is that hatched. We miss you guys too!!!

Hey all you class mates who are not in "Q " this year - First off - we really miss all of you -but like IYQ said - you are talked about!!! we did start a new thread under graduating to fulltime - it is titled the class- less class - so hope you will look at it and post there!!!

I like this idea as well - and look forward to meeting other " new to the road " people over the next few years!!! I am posting a note on the class of 08-09 thread to let others know to come over to the new thread
