I just had my truck inspected and was told that next spring( before May when license is due) that I would have to get an in-state inspection before new License plates would be issued. This is supposedly a new law that goes into effect on March 1st, 2015. Asked if another out of state inspection could be used and sent to Texas and was told that under new law that the truck would have to be inspected in Texas right before a new license plate sticker would be issued. Has anyone else heard of this new Texas law?
