We are signed up for the ECR and really looking forward to seeing friends again. Mike, if you get close to Tombstone give us a call and we'll get together for some visiting and maybe some truck talk, ha. Mike 660.214.0510 -

We made it into Tombstone Territories RV Resort outside of Tombstone, AZ on Mon. This is good little park off the beaten path with huge pull throughs and plenty of room for HDT'ers. We have reservations for a month but we'll see - home seems to be calling louder each day! Jo Ann continues to improve after her concussion so the trip is looking up for her too. Boy is it ever quiet, especially after Mesa! Mike -

Don, this is our first time in AZ so I thought we would try several cities out here to see if we liked one better than the others. Haven't decided yet where we will go from here, Trouble is, everytime I mention a place to someone they say "Oh, the winds blows there all the time!" Texas says it about Arizona, Arizona says it about Texas, Mesa says it about Yuma - what's a guy supposed to do? LOL. Let us know when you get here. Mike -

Pulled into Valle Del Oro in Mesa yesterday (space, well kinda, 1777) come visit if you are in the area. There was quite a crowd watching the parking "EVENT", odds were being given and I heard an "OMG I won the Lotto" from someone when I finally shut it down! The fun has begun - just hope we are up to it. Mike & Jo Ann -

Pulled into Abilene last night at the Buck Creek RV park. May stay here a few days to dodge the snow headed this way. Anyone got a favorite restaurant or attraction in the area? Mike and Jo Ann -

Stopped in Springfield, Mo to spend a few days for an early Christmas with son & his family then on to Mesa. The park is Stage Stop RV, flat gravel parking lot with about 40 sites, no refinements or obstructions but you could park a 100 ft rig in any of the pull throughs. Right behind Lamberts restaurant, home of the throwed rolls! Mike -

Back at the lake south of Branson after a stop over in Chanute to try out an Elks RV park. Beautiful spot but really lonely out there by ourselves. Lake is really pretty and we will stay here a couple of weeks before heading home to Chillicothe, Mo. Then on to Mesa for the early winter and then ? GREAT time at Hutch seeing long standing (not old!) friends and making some new ones too. Already looking forward to the next one and the east coast rally too. I guess being around Rick made some of his habits rub off on me - stepped in a hole in the asphalt here at the resort and twisted (only I hope) my ankle & back so now I'm hobbling around like a half rung chicken! Oh well, nice place to recup! Safe travels all. Mike -

Set up in Walker, MN at Pine Creek RV Park, it's in the HDT campground list, enjoying the 70's and a little rain. Next week at the RV Ham Rally in Gordon, WI. Mike -

After attending the Chapter 17 Spring Rally in Grove, OK we are settled in on our lot at Outdoor Resorts of the Ozarks just south of Branson, Mo. Lots of rain has the lake at flood level but has resulted in a beautiful green spring. If you are in the area give us a call. Mike & Jo Ann -

Finally got to Big Stone Gap, Va to visit relatives for a week. Beautiful weather & scenery, trees are starting to turn. Ah, the adventures of traveling: missed a turn in St Louis Sunday (sure can spend a lot of fuel going around the city to try to get back on track), bought two new tires on Monday (not planned and no damage - just bolts in the tires!) that caused us to be late so we attempted to land at "Bean Pot Campground" at Crossville, Tn at night in a space guaranteed to be big enough for us - it wasn't-avoid at all costs-what a dump. Managed to find a spot in beautiful Deer Run RV Resort in Crossville-great place & folks-we are going back on our way home. Tue came & we miss counted traffic signals and wound up blocking 2 lanes of traffic at a 13' 2" underpass-top of the stacks is 13' 3". Locals were very friendly and helpful as they stopped traffic while I backed up and drove on the wrong side of the road where the clearance was taller. Wed is here and I can hardly wait to see what adventure is in store for us today. Having fun is hard work!
