I've been lurking here for around a year now. The amicability of everyone on this site is impressive, unlike some of the confrontations that I've seen over at RV.NET. I enjoy reading about the rigs, the modifications and lifestyles of HDT owners.
With a good twelve years before I become eligible to retire from my day job, getting my own HDT is a ways off. Our family isn't spending enough days RV'ing to justify economically the purchase of an HDT as a single-purpose vehicle. However, I do spend some quality "In My Head" time while going down the freeway looking at the various Class 8 rigs and thinking in terms of which ones would work well for pulling our trailer.
Our day will come. For now, dreaming and scheming will have to do.
