  1. There is a Pomp's tire in Salina.  You guys willing to go that far? I got my Firestone drive tires through one of the regional guys in that organization for a great price.  His Dad is a fellow HDTer, might even still be on this forum . . .

  2. Pinch off the airlines going to your brake canisters one at a time and see if the leak airflow changes in any way.  If so you have a bad brake canister.  I had one leaking from the service side to the parking side and it was leaking continually through my ABS modulator release valve.  I was able to determine it was the canister by pinching lines and listening to how the leak changed.

Where is the turbo actuator and how do I check it? Searching on YouTube.

The arm with a round section that has a bolt on the center of it.  On the side of the turbo facing your front passenger steer tire, between the intake side and exhaust side of the turbo.  Basically, if the turbo has any oil anywhere on it's housing, that is a bad sign.

  4. I have a 2004 ISX 500/1650.  Your boost is really low.  Mine will hit 35psi when climbing hills at max loads.  30psi is very common even on gradual inclines.  Oil pressure sounds good, mine hovers around 40 psi.  I did Rawze's EGR tuneup.  Definitely worth doing, but all the sensors are close to $700 from Cummins.  If you can get to the Atlanta area, take it to Haggai Automotive and truck repair.  The owner is a close friend of Rawze and one of the best ISX mechanics in the United States.  I just recently had my EGR cooler and oil cooler replaced there.
