I also thank you for your information. The middle of January works for me. We want to go to Quartzsite, and we will probably be available about January 20. I can do temporary work during a "normal" hiring process, let's say up to six weeks. I'm still looking forward to a job where I get paid for walking.

I have yet to hear back from Sherm at Southern Cross. This week, I will go ahead and apply, then call again. This is my wife's favorite idea. I like the idea too, but I'm not used to dealing with lack of response.

Thus far, the report is: no report. I called the number and left a voice mail Friday. So far, no response as of Monday evening.

Southern Cross has an ad in the current Workamper News. They want "applicants able to travel the country for long periods of time" and state that assignments last 4-5 months. I am interested in this work, so I will contact them.
