Brian - how could we know if they ripped you off? You never told us what they did or didn't do... Sorry you're still having problems though.
I chose to modify my "BTTB is Fixed" thread rather than going into details here on "On the Road" section. Anyway, I'm 30 miles east of Albuquerque and BTTB roared as advertised all the way. Have to stop in Cochiti Lake to pick up my slider tray in the morning then heading for Tucson. ETA for Tucson is tomorrow evening or Sunday morning depending how tired I get.

Elk City, OK today. BTTB likes 70mph just fine but the fuel tank doesn't. Lol. Still having air problems. Goes from 125 to below 100 in 15 min and needs 1200 rpm to start building pressure back up. Did FL rip me off?

In N. Little Rock. Truck thought visiting the local FL shop would be nice. It developed a big air leak and would not build air yesterday morning. GS ERS came through and had it towed to the shop. I'm in a nearby motel.

Currently camped out in the Pilot truck parking area about 80 miles east of Memphis enroute to Tucson, getting ready to enjoy my new mattress in my sleeper. AC is on and watching TV. Life just sucks.

Guess now that I'm officially a member of the "dark side" I can post here too. I'm in Pickens SC and heading ???? on Sat or Sun.

Anyone coming through Tucson, let me know. I LOVE to check out HDTs so I can see what is what for when I'm finally ready to start shopping.

I couldn't agree more! Our sticks and bricks home is in one of the windiest places I've ever been in, and even people from Chicago say that if whoever named Chicago "the windy city" had come here first, Chicago wouldn't have gotten the name! So because we're really used to high winds, we go somewhere and folks complain that it's really windy, we just look at each other with "that look" that says (only to each other) "they think THIS is windy! HA!". So it's really all about perspective. That's part of the fun of rv'ing isn't it - the quest to find those places that you fall in love with, and marking other places off the map with a "no thank YOU" next to it...
My definition of windy is when my 5ver starts rocking. With a big-foot system and six tires on the ground, that ain't easy. Did happen a few times when I was stuck in TX in Nov for more than a month.

Don, this is our first time in AZ so I thought we would try several cities out here to see if we liked one better than the others. Haven't decided yet where we will go from here, Trouble is, everytime I mention a place to someone they say "Oh, the winds blows there all the time!" Texas says it about Arizona, Arizona says it about Texas, Mesa says it about Yuma - what's a guy supposed to do? LOL. Let us know when you get here.
Mike
I suggest two options regarding weather.
1. Go there yourself and make your own determination whether the weather is nice for your or not.
2. Check out the place online on The Weather Channel's web site.
The reason I say this is because what may be "wind" to one person is just a breeze to someone else. There are places in AZ you'll be thankful for having a wind too.

I searched this thread back to last fall. Anyone near Tucson?
