UPDATE somehow this oldddddddddd topic has resurfaced lol so I will add to my previous comments.

Sure as well all know, and I often practice, plain old water and plenty of it suffices quite well, but to add to Clydro's post on occasion when I have chosen to use a chemical as far as the best breakdown of solids and paper and best odor control are concerned UNIQUE DIGEST IT is the best product I've ever used !!!! I think I may give a new comer called LIQUIFIED a trial run if I should ever so choose in the future as it gets great reviews.

I've heard Unique will actually break down poo mounds.....

Our grey tank wouldn't read 0% right away after dumping and took awhile (like 6 hrs) for it to eventually read 0%.  Was told to try Pine Sol and Calgon and after a couple of moves with it in the tank, it now immediately reads 0% after dumping.

  2. What ever you end up getting, for sure go to Verizon and get a new Sim Card.  Purchased a jet pack back 4+yrs ago.., took out the Sim Card and placed it in a router our son built.  He's working on a new router with the latest Qualcomm chip which just arrived and just went to Verizon to pick up another new Sim Card.  We placed it into the 1st router he built and will switch soon to the new one.

Still kept the original grandfathered plan

  3. No large trees that block satellite connections, that make it tough to get into the site and that dump trash/leaves on the roof and that scratches the rig (I prefer no trees).  Level sites (concrete best).  Option of drive through and back in sites.  Sewer connection, water and electric 2/3 rds way down the site (not at the back of the sites).  15, 30 and 50 amp electric hookups.  Picnic table at each site.  No fire rings unless distance between sites is wide.  Wide enough roads to make it easier to back into the sites.  My rig is 65 total feet long with Jeep included.

  4. I had a CDL when setting up a domicile at MyRVmail.com in Crestview FL.  The Okalossa Co DMV Office in Crestview was willing to transfer my CDL licence but needed a Doctors physical first which I declined.  The county clerk across the hall will also set you up to vote and will provide an address for banking.  So I have a physical address at the county office and a mailing address via MyRVmail.com for our bank and TD Ameritrade.

  6. Can't add to the information above except for this if you're on an expensive drug/s.....  Check to make sure they're on the Part D plan you end up with.

I was placed on an expensive medicine last week and my Humana Part D plan wouldn't cover it or the other 2nd choice product the Dr wanted me on.  Humana even refused the Prior Authorization of the 2nd product.  I called the company who produces the product, gave them my zip code of our domicile and they gave me 3 Part D plans to consider.  The Dr gave me a 30 day free supply coupon, will pay out of pocket for December and will then go on the new plan in January.

Based on my experience, I wouldn't pick Humana.

  7. We booked the majority of our stays last August/September for our trip to the Maritimes including Newfoundland.  It's going to be an expensive trip diesel wise but screw it.  Originally there was going to be 2 other RVs going with us but one recently dropped out.....  We're going.  Currently visiting our eldest in Nyack, NY

I use sygic Rv on a the android stereo oin my RV. It works quite well, and hasn't let me down (yet).

Thanks for the comment on Sygic!  Been looking for someone with RV experience.  Thinking of going with the Truckers app which has the RV application on an android pad the next time I need a GPS.  Lots lower cost.

The TSD card is only good at truck stops, correct? Is there a way to know if it is accepted before you pull into the station or to the pump?

Loves, TA/Petro, Ambest, Road Ranger and Sapp Brothers are the locations listed at TSD.  Daily (by firm) TSD publishes the discounts by state and city.

I have used the card in the past, results: denied two times at the pump while my BH was on the road and FlyingJ/Pilot fuel is so expensive that the discount doesn't lower fuel at all.

Where were you denied?  Did you go to the truck fill locations?  Need a bit more info.  Bought last Friday in Yuma for $1.86/gallon.  I have yet to have any issues with the card.  Works great for me.
