Though this not a border search, we were searched (our RV) thoroughly bu the TSA while we were waiting for the Cape May/Lewes Ferry. Going form Cape May.  While on our way back we asked the officers if they wanted to inspect the RV they stated "Why are we showing a movie?" Good Sense of Humour.

We replace the anode rod annually.  I am hoping to just flush the system.  Last year it turned our white wash cloths yellow.

Our problem appears to be that the place where we store the trailer, they winterize and de-winterize the 5vr for us, appear to have sulfur in their well water.  I need to figure out had to get rid of that water after the de-winterizaton. Being city bound, we would be hard pressed to fill and empty the tanks without causing a scene...

Your IRA follows you from state to state, example if you are a NYS resident and you take a required minimum distribution from an IRA that you set up in a different state it is considered NY income.  All IRA's are handled the same way, whether it is Morgan Stanley, Fidelity etc.  This works the same way as pensions that maybe administered from a different state i.e. Sears (Illinois) even though you worked in PA or NY. If you reside in X if it is taxable then it will be taxable in X.  Hopefully, I did not muddy the waters.....

Father in law got a pension from a denomination for housing allowance (retirement) his rental was (Sr./Assst. living) was 24k per year.  Pension was tax free because it was just below his living expenses.

On the Mass Pike they have three rates, the cheapest E-Z Pass based in Mass, next is E-Z pass from any other state, the most expensive they take a picture of your plate and mail you a bill (3 times the Mass E-Z Pass rate).

We started out with a Starcraft popup. We had three daughters, one son and the two of us.  We usually carried a screen house for additional space. With the pop-up each child had a chore to do in getting it set up and broken down.  twenty years later the kids are still talking about the good times they had (even tho we squeezed everyone in.
