  1. This is the second time I’ve heard about the winch cable failing on a Rampage, the first couple I spoke to about it were unloading a Road King and it caused considerable damage. My Rampage is about 5 years old, I’ll be replacing my winch cable with a spare I have before the next trip!

  2. I have an FLD120 that developed the same issue, it was the sensor that disengages the cruise control when you step on the brakes, they are the most common one to fail. They also built the truck around it. It took me 4-5 hours to replace it. And thankfully the White dealer near Iron Mountain, MI actually had one in stock. I now carry a spare but have zero desire to replace it a second time.

  3. I use Co pilot truck as well, the only issue is the ETA is usually off by 2 hours at the start of the trip leg versus maps on my iPhone but it catches up as the day progresses. One other thing worth mentioning is if you’re using the truck version of co pilot it will sometimes take you on some back road that you may not normally take because its providing the shortest and not necessarily the best route. It’s a subscription service and since we don’t full time I just pay by the month when we head out with the truck.
