Ya, I'm bummed too about them closing. We were planning on heading out there later this month to get weighed. Hopefully they will open in the fall again..

We use a stay-n-play on our 31' class C and toad. Not sure why it wouldn't work as it connects to the the RV lighting system and battery charge line only. Uses the stop light light on-off and vehicle deceleration to determine when and how much to apply the toad brakes. We like ours and it has been in service 3 years now with no problems. Talk to the manufacturer about it.

A few years ago we spent part of the winter at the Butterfield RV Resort and Observatory in Benson AZ. They had DSL from the local phone company available. You might check with them to see if the phone company still offers it. (520) 586-4400.

Watch the oncoming traffic carefully as people tend to pass when they shouldn't. We keep our headlights on the entire length since people are such idiots. Been many head-ons on that stretch of highway. A lot of it has been replaced now by 4 lane separated highway which helps.

We switch back and forth between Progressive and Geico depending on who offers a better deal at renewal. Both have given us good service processing claims. Have multiple vehicles insured with both most of the time.

We also have Acorn, we think it's got a lot of good shows both comedies and drama. We also like the Australian shows like Heart Doctor or 800 words.
