Thanks Jeri.....will give you a "toast" the next time we open a bottle.
Yep it was pretty tasty, for sure. Went really well with that key lime pie!

I'd be annoyed too! Sounds like the "tech" may have deleted more than data?
Roger
I think Roger may be on to something here... Now the challenge with Cloud backups is likely due to the fact the the algorithm used may have detected some change in hardware thus "believing" the computer was not the same one that the backup came from.
Here is an example - when I was repairing my samsung laptop I ended up replacing the motherboard and fans at the same time. No problem, everything worked, right? Well when it came time to upgrade to Windows 10 the Microsoft algorithm didn't recognize my new motherboard as being the owner of my Microsoft software licenses and thus would not upgrade. After much discussion with Microsoft tech's a new series of computer generated software codes were added to my laptop and then I was "legal" for the free Windows 10 upgrade. Now all it well in laptop land...

Having worked in the Information Technology field for 35 years my advice is only back up the stuff you wish to save... having said that most people don't bother at all and then wished they had. However there are always ways to get old files and stuff off of old puters...
Congrats to the Hawkeyes but they still have a huge hurdle ahead of them to make it to the final group of four...

We had an overnight in Fort Stockton, Walmart. But yes we are driving too long. Short hops from now on.
Takes me a month to cover 900 miles...

What, Steve has class? Does that mean we have to kick him out. Who am I going to have to pick on?
Jeri, you can ship some of that warmth over here. It's going down to 27 tonight. I'd better bring the brass monkey in for the night. I was going to go over to the NM boot heal this week but too many things got in the way. I'll try again next week.
I went to the Petro Truck stop this evening for dinner. When I went to the cashier to pay, she said "this one is on us and handed my money back. We should have a few more Veteran's days. At happy hour all the cowgirls gave hugs to all the vets. I think I'll re-up for another Hitch.
Now it's my turn. Thank you for serving vets. And thank you non-vets for supporting us.
Yeah, they gave us free entry into state parks here in Florida and then we got free craft beer at World of Beer in Naples... I too think we should celebrate Vets day more often...

Thanks everyone for the advice. Thanks Soos, we are booked into Braunig Lake. Came down to the price $23.50 Passport America.
That is still a good location to visit downtown and the riverwalk... go on a sunday and parking if free I think

Yep record breaking temperatures here in southern Florida... 92 yesterday for Bonita Springs... plenty hot but when sitting on the beach with the sea brreze and an occasional dip in the ocean it is just about perfect...

After we have a nice visit with Mickey Mouse, we'll head that way. Do you want to run over and make sure our site is cleaned up before we get there? That way we won't have to worry about a landscaper coming by and nicking our sewer hose. Isn't that what just happened to you?
sure tell me the site and I will talk with the gardeners

well we are all settled in at Imperial Bonita Estates, Bonita Springs, FL until Feb 1st, 2016. Originally we planned to stay two months but added November when the weather out east was unsettled... this will indeed be our longest stay in one spot (we did two months last year in San Diego). Hope I don't get hitch itch too soon...

Hey Jeri, it poured in Houston too! We got 7.22 inches of rain in one day....YIKES! At least is was a good water test for the 5th wheel..... no leaks :-)
I wondered how you two were doing with all that water and for it to have no where to go... stay dry!
-
we loved Borrego Springs... we are now in the middle of Florida near the Big "O" or Lake Okeechobee and move again tomorrow for a three month gig in Bonita Springs...

the best time to visit Texas is in the springtime when the wildflowers burst out... Lockhart Texas is a must stop if you are a smoked BBQ fan as they host 4 top tier BBQ joints that are often listed in the top 10 of all of Texas. February will still be pretty dang cold in most of Texas so you may want to stay in Mission a bit longer... You will love the tamales down there though!

I too, have always used Firefox and have never had a problem...

landed in Titusville FL at a Greater Outdoors RV Resort for 2 nights on a BOGO - with rates at 50/nite off-season it is the only way we would stay here! Nice resort but pricey...
-
the cooler weather jsut came thru Savannah as the highs here are to be in then mid 60's, a perfect day for a stroll through downtown Savannah. Tomorrow a move a little further south to Brunswick Georgia... getting closer to Florida...
-
the rain has mostly stopped but they are calling for 50% chance the next few days so we will likely sit here another week and let all the water run back out into the ocean and then start south instead of visiting Asheville like we had originally planned...
-
well it has rained all day here south of Raleigh NC and is expected to do so for another 12 hours or so... we are in a good spot to wait it out. Hell we couldn't run because I don't like to drive more than 175 miles a day. So we just stayed put...
-
yep it appears SC will get lots of rain, we will get lots here but it sure as heck doesn't make any sense to head south to SC, so guess we will sit tight and see where it really wants to go...
-
loks like Joaquin is going to have us sitting tight in the rains here in NC until we know for sure where it is heading...
-
finally got all my login credentials (well, most of them) figured out so I can occasionally post again... as for our reasons to buy a motorhome I simply just didn't want a big old dually truck as my got to car to get around towns. Unlike Roger we have had few problems with our class A...

Roger you can always change your citizenship to Indiana... Man get outta there summer is almost over...
