We will not be returning to CT in our RV that is for sure.. We are buying a 45ft Tiffin Allegro Bus and will have a 22 foot trailer for our Wrangler and our motorcycle.. CT roads are the worse. Would never attempt driving in CT.

I am also a Veteran and I get most of my healthcare with the VA, so I will be making SD VA hospital my main source of healthcare. But having Federal BCBS nationwide makes it so that my husband can get healthcare anywhere... we are thankful for that!

Kirk.. we are moving from one of the most heavily taxed and one of the most expensive states, Connecticut! I am a federal employee retiring soon and will have full coverage with them nationwide... so thankfully I won't need to buy.

Thank you Kirk W for the welcome and a very good answer to my SD vs WY question... We love Wyoming so much and it is so close to Denver where my daughter lives. but SD for a domicile it is! Thank you so much.. helped tremendously.

My husband and I will become RV owners next year going full time. In choosing a domicile, I see SD mentioned so often with no income ax, low sales tax 4%, RV friendly, etc. But I wonder what makes SD such an optimal choice among full timers when it appears Wyoming looks as if it mirrors SD in almost every aspect. Can anyone say what about SD is better than WY?
